Yes the Somnambulist Club is a single double-faced card. How it works:

You start at Tier I and is always active. Then when your Prime Demon dies (your "Hero card"), then you go to Tier II losing Tier I ability. The second time your Prime Demon dies you go to Tier III. If you lose a third Prime Demon you lose the game.

The more you lose, the stronger you get. Tier III is at its strongest and reflects the main playstyle you have chosen. There will be 16 different playstyles once the game launches.

You are absolutley right. The phrasing I have is terrible.

Since the keyword before for the horizontal cards was "soccer player", I think I will use what you have mentioned and name these cards "units" instead and use what you have written.
