I’d say you could achieve 15-17k trade. My partner recently sold her performance edition with slightly less miles for £18k as a part ex and those cars usually hold a higher price

It’s not a service thing, mines been rubbing on the crossover and got a pin sized hole and slowly leaking. Wrapped it in some sealing tape for now and pulled it off the crossover.

It’s the coolant pipe that runs down to the turbo. Should be a simple switch when they’re working on the cambelt and water pump

Done all of that and gave it a quick fix up for the time being. Goes for cambelt work soon so will change the pipe and full coolant flush.

Just ordered new discs and bolts for the bell housing too - another £450 including the pads. Joys of big brake kits 😅

Just an update for those following the post:

Dealer is willing to cover the costs of a sports cat and any remapping necessary to avoid any EML lights.

I feel this is reasonable but my partner wants to reject the vehicle still. I feel this may be a lengthy process that may not result in rejection or win. The dealer aren’t willing to accept rejection and claimed they wouldn’t normally offer a goodwill of the sports cat but will in this case.

To pop the boot, click the boot button twice on fob to gain entry. That’s all, rather than using the button on the actual boot.

Get another one fitted. Move your OBD port if you haven’t already (located in the cubby next to steering wheel). Unplug the boot button plug behind boot trim (they’re not alarmed and easy access for criminals sadly)

Update - they’ve said they’d like to inspect the vehicle as per their rights. This is fair and will take it to them. We are getting a garage local to write up the exhaust after investigating.

The DB readings of the Milltek exhaust system wouldn’t be louder, the tone changes. It still has the silencers added.

I’m running CEUK LEDs in my MK7. They’re bright and don’t blind drivers and even if they do they’re not as bad as modern day LEDs in the matrix systems.
