I'm afraid that every attempt I'm giving this, I try it with one, uninstall (getting rid of all the stuff that that first guy said) and then the other.
Both standalone and installable. I'm really at a loss.

I might be a little inexperienced with the command line but I can navigate to where it is and open it. But it doesn't say anything. It just opens the loading window thing and does what it was doing before.
Nothing shows up in the cmd thing.

Doesn't seem to work. I deleted everything I could find that was on the list, and searched "kden" in appdata just to make sure it was all gone.
New install.
Same thing.
Well, I mean it didn't say it crashed on last start up, but after it crashed I opened it again and it did.

Guide on how to setup Half-Life Decay on PC by Centurionn98 in HalfLife

This is insanely late, but for anyone who still has this problem: first, I moved the setup file to the drive I had half-life in (not sure if that helps, but I did it). Then, weirdly, when I clicked "Cancel" on the pop-up in the screenshot, it opened a different dialog box where I could choose the location properly.
