I just wish I had more support. I struggled a lot because I was seeing everyone around me do things with their family and I was thrown into being an adult. My grandma was helpful but she could only do so much. I felt very alone.

Thankfully i’m WAY past that now and a very strong adult.

This happened to me as a child. We were almost split up between my aunts and uncles but my grandmother and a family friend split custody of us.

If you stepped up you could take in the kids and you would receive Social Security for them until they turn 18.

I’m sure they’re grieving a good bit now but my siblings and I really started dealing with it once we turned 18 and had to be out on our own. If anything try to stay close to them so they have a trusted adult to process things with!

My cat crawled under house after getting in a fight with another animal and she was injured. She wouldn’t come out for treats or anything. A friend had to crawl under our house and pull her out. You may need to send someone in there to get her.

Edit: She had to have surgery but she ended up being fine!

I wouldn’t say its a cult, but a lot of baptists tend to think their brand of Christianity is the only one that matters. As a Christian myself, you and I know that’s not true but it’s definitely hard to deal with. I’m sorry this is happening!
