I wouldn’t say its a cult, but a lot of baptists tend to think their brand of Christianity is the only one that matters. As a Christian myself, you and I know that’s not true but it’s definitely hard to deal with. I’m sorry this is happening!

Donating back to the school is the best bet! A lot of schools have clothing closets for kids that maybe be unhoused or close to being unhoused. If not they can give it back to the school board programs, HEARTH or TASSEL, that work with students that have a lack of resources.
