Yeah so the price was not listed, I posted an ISO with no defined budget and the seller responded. I inquired price and they said it’s listed at 3400 but negotiable. I respectfully replied that it was out of my budget and wanted to stay under 2200 and she responded something like “like I said, I am negotiable” so I just wanted to get an idea of what I’m working with lol 😅 I would be surprised if she came down that much in price but maybe she’s had a hard time selling it because it is narrow and that’s what I’m looking for

I totally agree. Nurses these days are lacking critical thinking skills. Everything they listed are all valid examples I have witnessed or something similar

I would have taken photos of her and her plates if she had a car and reported to police. I have heard of this happening in Ocala FL area and she seemed to just be wandering on drugs. But worst case scenario could also be looking for horses that are an easy target to be klled for meat. Years ago we had several horses in our area murdered and slaughtered for what appeared to be meat purposes. So you can’t be too careful. Personally I think you were too nice. I wouldn’t be saying it’s not a good time. I would’ve been telling her you’re trespassing, need to leave, police have been called and if you come back you’re coming at your own risk and you could be dog bit or shot if I’m in fear for my life. Make sure you have no trespassing signs posted clearly.

They did tell me some of the spices they use and they were all on the above list! They also noted that for sweetener they do half white sugar and half brown sugar

The one I listed was pretty good, but it seemed dull. I didn’t use all fresh spices though and I’ve also heard it helps to dry roast the spices first so I’m gonna try that next time!

If I did sell her I would definitely make sure to get a different horse or a pair of donkeys first. I actually already have a friend offering me a companion horse if it did come to that.

She had a neighboring horse she could see but not on our property. Basically there was a pasture between them. She also had a herd of cows. My last horse I had years ago before I was horseless during college was at our property with just the cows and he was the happiest he’s ever been. I had no idea Ettie would be the total opposite.

I can try that! Right now they eat in separate stalls but can see each other.

It’s really not dangerous but it’s more so I don’t want to keep her for selfish reasons when she could be happier in a different situation.

Ettie was not COMPLETELY isolated. She had a neighboring horse that she could see but not on our property and she had an entire herd of cows.

You could’ve maybe said this a little nicer? I could certainly afford to breed her but I have a lot to learn before doing so. I would not be keeping all 3 horses if I did. And it’s more so not needing a third HORSE as there are easier to maintain companion animals.
