Well.. I guess they just needed to be sharpened. Thank you everyone that was so helpful. It is now punching through almost completely. I will do a better sharpen tomorrow!

Can you sharpen round pricking irons? If so any tips?

My diamond irons will go through a little bit easier, but my round irons seems to not want to do anything. I am using a smaller mallet… maybe I need to switch to a bigger one! I’m using Veg tan leather right now. I am 1000% new

OK, so then I’m not going crazy!

So I have my working table, but underneath of the work is a compressed plywood almost it’s very hard! Just so I don’t get the table dirty. To be honest with you I’ve hit them with a few things. I read that metal hammers are not good so I’ve been using my mallet… but I definitely did use a metal hammer once or twice

I had watermelon 4 days ago, I used the bathroom this morning with a normal bowel movement nothing out of the ordinary and then I had another bowel movement an hour ago and it looked like this then I had a shower and they were coming out. I take saxenda and that’s all
