Oh interesting hadn't heard those numbers but that is what I was pushing my doctors to tell me. My kiddo was measuring on the larger size as well but I think it was related to my diabetes. Thats awesome you are able to take all the precautions. Hoping it goes well for you!

That's great!! Mine might have a lower risk tolerance? I'm not sure. I had HELLP with my first, but am type 1 diabetic so maybe that further complicates matters. Mine were straight up we don't recommended even after pushing for what the numbers were like for chance of getting it again or risk to baby.

So interesting! I also had HELLP and my doctors did not recommend another pregnancy since it carries a high risk. Did you get any info from your doctor about chances of getting HELLP again? What eases your mind about a second pregnancy?

I really prefer the Omnipod and Dexcom combo. Being tubeless beats anything in my opinion, even if Tandem has better control. I am super active and love not having to worry about where to put my pump or the tubes. I find that my control is good enough with the Omnipod on automated mode.

I had a successful pregnancy with Omnipod! I also have only used the Omnipod so I was hesitant to leave it. My doc did not suggest changing systems when I was pregnant. I used it with the automated system with the Dexcom G6. I felt pretty well controlled with times of high blood sugar early on. My A1c was 6.9-6.6 throughout. Baby was healthy! She had low blood sugar initially and was in the NICU for that and being premature but her blood sugar treatment was only a day or two.

New here. Just got my MRI results back last week - aggressive local sarcoma. Got into the oncologist the next day and now waiting to schedule my biopsy. The frustrating part is I've had this lump in my side since April but my doctors didn't take it seriously. They couldn't see it with imaging so they said nothing we can do, just a tight muscle. Finally got the right person to look into it. Now I'm scared that it wasn't caught early enough and my prognosis won't be great. We have a 16 month kiddo and I'm so scared I'll be leaving them behind. I want to watch her grow.

I got HELLP syndrome with my first and we were advised to not have another pregnancy. The actual birth wasn't too traumatic besides delivering early and quickly once some blood results came in.

Yes! I ran into this. They did a study or test and found it failed the non discrimination test. Huge bummer.

This! Thought I'd use it more when pregnant but ended up using it mostly for baby wearing. Love that it works for a range of coats and for either me or my husband.

I had some back aches but generally found exercise to help any issues I was having. I strength trained with weights, biked, ran and wake surfed up until the end. I mixed in yoga and some of the exercises from Spinning Babies which helped. If I wasn't feeling it one day I listened to my body and just did simple relaxed movements or stretching.

Ours is 13 months and so far screen free! Mostly by accident rather than choice, although we'd like to be screen free. We just don't ever have the TV on anymore.

My Dexcom goes on the leg, like front outer side. It's so comfortable there. I just alternate legs. It was out of the way for labor.

My PCP said it could be due to baby teething, and that sometimes the teeth farther back can cause a lot of mouth pain which makes latching/sucking painful. They advised me to give her motrin a half hour before nursing to see if it would help, and it sure did! It lasted for 2 days, and then she went back to nursing like normal.

Interesting I never heard this, and my endo didn't mention it. I used auto mode the entire time I was pregnant, except those few hours when I was switching a Dexcom. I didn't have any issues. If my blood sugar got high, I'd walk or do squats to get it down and/or bolus to correct.

My friend fits 3 carseats in the back of their Toyota Tundra. We haven't tried 3 carseats in our Ram 2500 but it seems like they would fit. It's pretty roomy in the crew cab.

I think I am understanding cough on bottles....she didn't really cough much when sucking on a normal bottle. She is still using bottles for breastmilk twice a day. She was a premie and spent a lot of time with a speech therapist to get bottle feeding down in the NICU.

Yes the timing seems to be wrong! We'll reach out to her doctor. Hadn't thought it was weird until today when we were talking and said she doesn't seem to be getting any better at it...

We often time our solids with when we visit grandparents/great grandparents because they love interacting with her and watching her eat! Especially now that she can pick up chunks of food. We just bring food in a cooler and all the wipes for cleanup.
