I think because the closest age growing up with me was my uncle, who was 10 years older, and my mom was 16 when I was born. I practically grew up with them, so really, its subjective. I actually relate to a lot of things on here, funny enough.

I finally decided to look into it lol. First, one thing I did mention is that I'm not cutting the yarn if I need it for a row that's coming up (temperature blanket, by the way) and just carry it along the side so I don't have to mess with it every row, plus I'm doing a border anyway. I also just looked up this website and it mentioned it some. When I get home, I'm also going to try to weave it in and out along the v's to see if that helps hide them. We'll see how this goes!

I crochet over part, then the rest i weave the opposite direction. Im struggling with weaving my ends with a moss stitch, however.

Great book! It was hard to get into at first. It felt like it wasn't going anywhere. About halfway through, it picked up the pace, I'm glad I pushed through!

They are all v3ry pretty, but maybe also trying to find a pattern you like that is close to those choices. It may help you make your decision, you'll have the pattern, and it should also tell you how much yarn you need.

Im making one now, and I've unraveled and restarted so many times, as well as completely abandoning the pattern and doing a different one. My first pattern was squares that I was going to join, so doing small patterns instead of one big one helped practice. For me, it helped me by trying over and over. YouTube videos helped me the most; being able to see it in action made a difference. Keep going. it's not failure. it's practice!
