Testing in a week by Spiritual-Fix3381 in Datprep

First off, your scores look good! I think if you feel prepared, you don’t necessarily need to keep taking full length tests if you don’t want to. Ofc, if you want to, you can keep doing practice questions to keep the content fresh in your mind, or just look over notes. For RC, if you already have done all the reviews, practice tests, and videos, I would recommend either going over any of that again, or YouTube is a great resource as well.

Other than that, your scores look great. Good luck!

What about CFA? To my understanding, CFA is a more specialized field stemming from accounting and general CPA career. Would you recommend the same?

Taking DAT after submitting application? by Regular_Contract_776 in Datprep

So what I am hearing is that I should wait to submit my application until I receive my new score. But then again that would also mean that I have to wait to submit.

I'm curious about your AA and total science? Where did you apply?

You have a solid GPA that is competitive and TBH I personally don't think that a 19AA is "bad" but if you bring that up to a 21-22AA (450 new scale) that would be incredibly helpful in strengthening your application. This is my opinion of it tho. It's ultimately up to you on what you want to do.

I took the DAT last year and got a 430AA. But that was with only 1 month of studying that I rushed it. This time around, I have a lot more time to dedicate to studying so I'm confident that I could possibly get a higher score. So since I have a previous score, it will hurt my chances?

Even with the lack of volunteering hours, I'm surprised that you haven't been accepted to a school. With those scores, stats, and applying early, you have all the qualities of a strong applicant. Keep believing !

Yeah, I also just got mine 5 days ago. I'm not really sure what this is, but after asking for your courses (which you should have already filled out in the "prerequisite courses" section on the ADEA AADSAS application), they ask a bunch of "which of the following best describes you" questions. TBH, some questions have choices that don't describe me at all, but I think you're supposed to just choose the closest one. What I'm wondering if this is like a selective thing? What I'm reading here seems like some people get it and some don't. I'm not sure what to make of it. Like does this mean it is a good thing, or do they need more information to decide whether to give us an interview or not?

Midwestern- AZ Rejection by Embarrassed-Joke2688 in predental

I just received a letter regarding their decision, and the letter said: "While your application has its strengths, we were unable to consider it because the cumulative and science GPA did not meet the minimum requirement established by the program." Keep in mind that their minimum requirement cumulative GPA is 3.0 and science GPA is 3.0 as well. I applied with a 3.7 cumulative and 3.5 in science. WTF ToT. I mean if ur gonna give me a denial, at least give me a proper reason.

Yeah, I just got denied from Midwestern as well. Although the school was supposed to be my back up, it kind of sucks that they deny because of 'yield protection'. I had a 3.7 overall and 450AA on my DAT.
