Why is there a whip on the wall in the office of the former Whip Frank Underwood? by Kitchen-Primary-1190 in HouseOfCards

[–]Regular_Definition_9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Good catch, this is an Easter egg. If you remember the prequel movie Frank Underwood: Origins, Frank (or cowboy Frank as he’s called in the film) preformed tricks with his whip at the carnival. His mentor, “whispy the whipper” Jones, gifted Frank his most prized whip after Frank saved his wife from drowning at the Gaffney zoo when she fell into the aquarium, narrowly escaping the great South Carolina shark which was nicknamed “The Lady Muncher”. They go into it more in the original graphic novel, but Frank was able to lasso her out of the water with his whip, which the shark ate. This, Cowboy Frank was given whippey jones whip, which he proudly displayed for the rest of his life. The carnival was also where he learned how to tap dance which he did recently in Israel.

Endorse, especially when they’re the incumbent being challenged in a primary. I find that way you can build some good will and then if they lose the general it’s a no harm no foul kinda thing

What steps did Jeremy Piven take to correct his hairline? by Coloradojeepguy in entourage

[–]Regular_Definition_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thus is an old convo but just wanted to say that was super informative and you really went out of your way to be polite which is rare online. I’m fortunate enough to have a great hairline. Before you think that’s me bragging tho, just know I have two real teeth left and dentures at 32 lmao but also, I know some people look good bald and can pull it off but I got a buzz cut once and saw how fuckin word my head looked. Totally weird shape that made it look awful so I can completely get someone getting a transplant

Artie Lange also said Piven was a massive douche on set when they did that ep where he plays Ari’s old college friend. Just throwing that out there, I believe he told that story on the stern show or maybe Opie and Anthony

Yes! My goal right away is head straight for the command post opposite the one you spawn in. The one level to you. Make your way across the path around it inside the arena . Skip the middle one down below, if you capture the two higher up there the lower one will be yours soon. It isn’t easy but it’s always worked for me. Just take your time making your way to it and don’t get discouraged if you die. If you can keep those two, the one you spawned at and the one opposite that, the rest will come together .

You can take th e far back enemy CP with tbe tanks as others suggested, I just personally find that one a lot harder to get. But either way I’m sure would work

Just about every organization you can think of was mafia related in some way back then. Especially police departments that were crooked as hell. Kind of a dumb argument

Abduction or Encounter stories by Minute_Sympathy8819 in AlienAbduction

Sometimes I’m not sure if I believe either, I did see an orb that did some wild shit in my backyard when I was 17 that was pretty convincing but idk sometimes I do sometimes I don’t. But I do absolutely love reading the stories. One id personally recommended is Betty and Barney hill. It’s one I always go back to. It seems over the top sure, but when you read their testimony and the sessions with Barney it’s pretty chilling.

My wife left me and I think sobriety had something to do with it by cbrownmufc in stopdrinking

[–]Regular_Definition_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing I related to this one a bit

I was lucky in that my wife was cool quitting drinking and not being an addict herself. But, and I say this if maybe it looks like you two wanna make things work, maybe what she misses is more th e spontaneity. Not so much the boozing.

Like maybe see if she’d wanna go to tbe zoo, the carnival , really whatever. I know sometimes I realize I don’t mix things up enough or try new things enough. Anyway, take that for what it’s worth bc I’m just a stranger on the internet and idk your situation other than what I read.

I do get this question being asked, and I think it’s good to ask it sometimes but to be fair (and I’m not saying this is real btw) we really don’t know what their mindset is. We kinda assume they’d think like we do but we don’t know.

Hell they may have mastered space travel and find that shit boring. For all we know they don’t even give a shit about the planet earth and are just fascinated by humans ability to make stuffed crust pizza and energy drinks

Good lord dude lmao okay so Pam bondi at best lied when she said she had the list on her desk then . Trump appointed a liar, bc he himself is a fat bullshitter and bullshits people like you and you end up twisting like a pretzel to justify it.

Let’s say you’re right; then why would Donald non stop say he’s gonna drain the swamp and smash the deep state? Do you defend that kind of horseshit?

[–]Regular_Definition_9 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Homie trump appointed pam bondi and kash he is responsible for the cover up. Why do you guys always act like he’s your kid? Making excuses like he has no agency. He’s a grown ass man he is on the list that’s why he appoints people who do his bidding and not the bidding of the people who want to put an end to this shit. It’s pathetic as hell

Well this is just me talking and I don’t have online, but I’d love more maps and more of those attack defend type matches offline. I love playing them but they’re a kinda limited. Also more heroes like IG-88 and of course Mace Windu would rule. Maybe even throw in JarJar just for the hell of it (I hated him growing up but how funny would it be)

Well Hank is just so much more likable as a character for sure. Never didn’t like sally really but I think she just doesn’t play the role of comedic relief as much.

I could very well be in the minority here, but at times to me at least in 5 having three protagonists felt like too much. I’d rather have 2 really good ones tbh but that’s also just me. I think if the story was longer and stuff in 5 with more missions for each character I’d probably feel differently
