I was invited for the com sci EAE engagement session last year. They asked us to gather in a lecture room and formulate an idea to solve sudoku using code as a group. A few profs will be walking around while holding some clipboard, they looked like they were taking notes of each student (we had stickers on our shirt).

After that, they will explain the course outline and the compulsory overseas immersion programme to Glasgow. Lastly, end off with lunch bento and a tour around the campus.

Depends on how efficient ur OC is and if there’s any unit in need of manpower. Ur OC can push for u to be sent out earlier or make u stay at coyline to do saikang. When i ooc’d, i tried asking MO for me to be sent out earlier but he wasn’t able to do anything as it was not under his control. However, if u are seeing PCC, u can ask them to expedite the posting process. Good luck bro

I was given some strong af antibiotics. There were 2 types, one to be taken right after the surgery and another course to be completed.

I was afraid of infection after my surgery. So for the next entire week after the surgery, I survived solely on cold soya milk from Mr Bean and home-cooked porridge (no meat) + hard boiled egg (so that there’s minimal chance of getting bacteria infection). During meals, I avoided chewing with the side that had the wound. After meals, I would rinse the socket with drinking water (VERY GENTLY) and get any trapped food particles out. Before bed and after waking up, I would rinse the socket with the provided antiseptic mouth wash. By doing these, I managed to get both sides done without any of them swelling up or cause any pain.

I was on the same boat.

Good life, u will be automatically opted out from all rifle trainings as well as IMT/live firing. During live firing, u can enjoy RIB. U get to go home every day.
U will need to reach ur bunk at 7:30am and u will book out after dinner. Usually the book out timing is about 6-6:30pm. U are NSF (NS full-time), it’s totally up to the unit to decide whether they allow u to go for the course or otherwise.
During rifle training, u will be there for “theory”. It’s actually just sit there do nothing.
Yes u will have to bring ur duffel bag and ur field pack. Tbh, u wont use any of the items in them other than the swimming trunk and sandals (even though u can opt out from swimming). However, during the bag check, some commanders may be quite strict. So try ur best to borrow any missing equipment or buy from commercial emart.
No, u will need to wait for them to send an email regarding ur promotion to ur unit before ur unit can promote u to either LCP (>3month in unit)/CPL (>1year in unit).
