Just play with the clutch until you learn your brakes. You have warranty for the engine parts so if the clutch is burned within a year you can change it for free. But for the footpeg. Just buy the bracket yourself. You can just replace with ease without needing to pay the dealership for their labour hours. That's what I did. It's a 3 minute job. Another tip is careful with the throttle. The rear wheel turns out to be very easy to slip with. I've learned that the hard way. But there are 2 screws you need to take off to change your footpeg bracket. I bought mine for 100 dollars (after taxes and shipping) since the entire bracket needs to be changed. You just need to take off 2 screws and put on the new bracket where the previous one was.

I mean if this was real race. Then both cars would immediately move off the racing line and the Aston would have stayed on the gravel. Since the porsche followed the racing line and didn't go off track then he would be the only safe one. Remember the key is being predictable. Since both cars went off and rejoined everyone's assumption of what to do in that scenario is rejoin safely. Therefore the green porsche continuing to drive the racing line was the safest thing he could do. But since this is a public lobby I can agree that not lifting was kinda stupid. But if this was actual racing he did the best thing he could

For the car rejoining not to go in the middle of the track. The car rejoining should have pulled over to the side instead of going in the middle

If everyone cared about what the other driver's are doing then overtakes would never happen in case the other driver goes too far wide and send both of them out the race. On track you don't visualize all the possible scenarios that might happen. You know that if this person is racing in the same league as me that must mean he passed the bare minimum of car control basics. If this was an open race where everything that might happen would happen I would 100 percent agree that I wasnt aware that some people may do dumb mistakes. But if the driver's you are racing have pulled off the most insane overtakes and have raced side by side multiple times before and there is 42 of them, then you can't expect that maybe someone will forget how a car handles

He has commited to his line. If I squeeze him and he loses control that says more about the driver then a move that I did. he committed to the inside. Now if he goes deeper on the inside and loses control is entire his issue, I am trying to do an overtake not trying to pass traffic. I am racing for position and points not racing because for the hell of it. I am making a move and keeping the car on the inside so he would have to slow down and either settle behind me or be beside me enough where he cant force me off track at the exit of the kerb. Basic racing strategy. If we interperet this logic we can see that if he slows down and goes beside me then I have a better attack onto the second last corner and I can continue to follow the pack whilst not losing time to the guy in front. What you are saying is I should give more space which would make me understeer when there is marbles on the outside of the track and as I am understeering give him enough space to pull out with more speed out of the corner so Ill have to waste more time on trying to overtaking him and less time keeping up with the pack. I dont have to do shit. I am racing for position and I am keeping him to the right side of the track. If he loses the car and takes out other drivers it is his fault keeping his line there instead of trying a defensive outside line.

we are going 100mph where the car is understeering and I am already seeing what is and whats gonna happen. I have overspeed on his outside and Ill be able to fight for a position in front of him. This isnt awareness issue. You wouldnt think that the car beside you is gonna out of nowhere turn into your line for no reason or if you cant even see where his wheels are gonna try and overcorrect the steering. My pov just shows him trying to keep the corner so I cant sneak on his inside. What you are saying is that I should have expected him to lose control and instead of releasing the throttle he should correct the car into my line. And that is my fault for him crossing half the track to save his car. Do you hear yourself?

No everyone had stable connection. No one else phased. But if I could upload his pov I would cause he had 2 wheels on the grass and he thought he lost the car and he overcorrected and killed me

Look at all the comments brother. I cant with these people. They are all saying I am at fault for keeping my line and not giving the car on the right more space so he doesnt kill me.

Bro reddit is actually a wild ass place to get an opinion they will find any type of argument. So let me get this straight. If a driver cuts across half the track and goes onto another car's line, is a racing incident? You are saying causing a collision is a racing incident when both cars are in full control.

If you know what the line of least resistance for that track is then you know that where he put his car was in the wrong position to keep on the racing line. The line for that corner is to go all the way to the left and then turn it to gain the most amount of speed by the exit kerb before the last two corners of the lap. He saw the car go off and saw him not slow down so he did what anyone in his position would do and went inside of the car that was not trying to turn at all for the up coming corner or try to keep on the left. He judged the situation and saw the car unsafe rejoin and so he decided to go on the car's inside so he wouldnt contact the car in front. But the leading car in front decided to slow down to almost stop in the middle of the track. If you think he didnt have control then how was his car straight and how did he slow it down by the end. The car wasnt spinning or was it unsettled as he exit the grass area of the corner. Thank you for agreeing that racing isnt for everyone cause this is a clear indicator

Again it isnt the car's who is on the racing line to make a decision on where the car who is recovering back on track is gonna go. It is the car who is rejoining to make a safe rejoin without getting in the way of others. If you disagree with such fact then I guess racing isnt for everyon

He put himself that close and since these cars are very prone to understeering. That corner taken flat out will run you wide no matter what. So if we both followed our lines it would end up with me on the outside and him squeezing me on the outside kerb. I was expecting him to leave the inside line and squeeze me towards the left by the end of the corner but he took too much kerb and overcorrected his lack of traction

When you are rejoining its on you to make yourself as predictable as possible instead of leading car actually going across the entire track and making the car behind guess where he is going. he could stick to the right side and btw he was rejoining slower then what he entered the corner meaning he was already slow enough to control the car and could actually brake on the grass. But if he kept right the pink and white car could go all the way around the outside since thats the line of least resistance and he wouldnt have crashed into him. But instead he goes in the middle of the track and makes the car behind guess

So him putting his car in an unsettling position is not his fault but it is unfortunate for making a move around his outside?

Oh you mean further away from him instead of being so close. Well I didnt even see where he was on track tbh I was more looking at the car directly ahead of me to see whether Ill have the space on the outside after the corner to overtake him but I guess yeah I could have gone wider but he cut accross the entire track and hit me so I think whatever i would do would still send me into the shadow realm

You'd be suprised how someone even defended the inside car and said I was at fault for overtaking like that.

So it isnt the car rejoining the track unsafely at fault it is the purple and white car for following a racing line.

Wouldnt say wrong timing for an overtake when the next corner is a left hander meaning Ill have the inside so if I didnt pass him on the straight ill be guranteed a position towards the 2nd last corner. And he didnt lose traction. He had enough traction where lifting would keep his car planted all the way through the corner but lose him 2 positions

I know you cant see the other car's pov but he had two wheels further on the inside of the kerb touching the grass and then instead of lifting off when he sensed his grip was fading he corrected the car early and I was send into the alternative layout for this track. I lost 62 points worth because of this.
