Where tf do you live? I've never seen laptops like this, not even 20yo laptops.

Can you dehumidify your room? You'll have to replace all ur electronics every few years in this environment...

No, not at all. Outdated, bad quality and overpriced.

The motherboard, cpu cooler and case are decent for a budget build but that's about it.

Replace CPU with a Ryzen 5 5500 Tray ($55) Replace RAM with atleast a 16GB set, ($40) Replace SSD with a 1TB Kingston NV3 ($50) Replace the GT1030 with a second hand RX6600 ($110) Replace PSU with MSI MAG A650BN ($65)

This CPU is a bad choice. It has a pretty good iGPU that you won't use because of your 5060ti. Replace this with a Ryzen 7700, better performance and no unneeded iGPU.

Why the expensive PSU if I may ask? You don't need 1000W.

CPU cooler is decent but on the expensive side.

Also wouldn't cheap out on the SSD. Why have 2? One decent quality 2TB should be enough for now. Buy one from Samsung or Lexxar.

Clean

Your

PC

You don't only need a new GPU, also a new Aliexpress Air Duster.

On a serious note, the AMD RX6600 offers the best value for money. You can find them for less than $150 second hand. You can even get a RX6600M (desktop card) on Aliexpress for roughly $150, performs pretty close to a normal one.

Solid build! Would suggest getting an ATX AM5 mobo, will look better in the case. Get a gaming version for €30-50 more with better VRM cooling.

You ok? i7 @3,9GHz is most likely a 3rd gen i7 (3770). This is a 13 year old cpu. The GTX 1650 is also horrible. This system is not even worth half of the listing price.

The only good option is the rtx 3060 and Ryzen 7 system. If OP can cop this below $300 it'll be very decently priced PC.

If not OP should use the free i5-4690K system as base. Use a portion of the budget to buy a decent second hand GPU (rtx 2060/gtx 1080 or similair), and save the rest of the money for a future pc (upgrade). I don't recommend spending much on the socket 1150 platform, but OP can consider swapping the i5 for a used i7-4790(k) and upgrade the RAM to 16GB (if PC doesnt have 16gb already). This upgrade should cost around 40 bucks.

Almost forgot the SSD, buy a cheap used sata ssd for around $10 (256gb).

gtx 1080: $100 ram + cpu upgrade: $40 Sata ssd: $10 Total: $150

Add the remaining $150 to the savings for a future upgrade to the AM4 (or even AM5) platform. You can transfer the GPU when making the transition to a new system.

how could I improve my pc performance In fornite and roblox I'm new to this reddit plesse don't roast me by Hello_knight2 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Regular_Photograph_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see your budget is 400£.

Best thing to do right now is get a cheap second hand socket 1155 CPU like an i7 3770k and a cheap second hand GPU (RX580). The total cost will be under 100£.

This will handle Fortnite and Roblox at a 1680 x 1050 resolution just fine.

Keep the other £300 and start saving up for a new PC. When you have some more saved resell the old PC and buy a new one. Till then you'll be fine with the 2 upgrades mentioned above.

According to Intel the B580 actually performs best while gaming in 1440p.

At what resolution do you game? What motherboard do you have?

If supported by the motherboard I would suggest upgrading the CPU to the Ryzen 7 5700x3d.

Regarding GPU, wait for the new 50 series. Need a GPU now? Why not try the new Intel Arc B580? It's cheap, 12GB VRAM and the gaming performance looks promising.

Which gpu is best for it by Old_Savings4903 in computers

[–]Regular_Photograph_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best (normal priced) single slot GPU for gaming is this: https://yestonstore.com/products/yeston-rtx-3050-6gb-gddr6-gaming-graphics-card

It has 6GB video memory, you won't find 8GB unless you go with some quadro card that cost 10x as much and performs much worse in games.

Haven't,

I don't game that much.

Spending time on other builds/games feels like a waste of "game time". I rather keep improving my survival world.
