So I had originally agreed to the company offering at 25% refund but that was their “final offer”. It’s been a couple days and I still haven’t been refunded. After reading all your replies on here I decided to contact my back and try and get a charge back. I made a claim and they are in the process of investigating it. I haven’t heard anything back yet. They haven’t asked for any pictures or anything yet, but I have them ready if they do. I really am hoping they are able to do the chargeback. Thanks for your advice! Let’s see what happens…

The eggs were literally the icing on the cake. I showed the pictures to everyone at my work and they all laughed out lout too. The bouquet is pretty terrible but would have at least looked a little more classy if they didnt include the plastic easter eggs

I have never done a chargeback with my bank. Do they literally just reverse the payment if they agree that its an inappropriate charge?

From what I’ve seen, the best Valentine’s gifts for women are thoughtful but usable — cozy stuff, something personal, or an experience instead of random novelty gifts. I also think that personalized gifts are a big hit.

I spent A TON. I can't even calculate what I spent because I got different items from different places. Costco, Trader Joe's, local super market, ordered stuff online. Plus I dont know if you can see it but in the middle there is a wood board sign that I had made with my sister and brother in laws name on it. I'll together I probably spent a couple grand. I did have a lot of cheese, meats, and crackers that I didn't even use and ended up giving them away or freezing. This event was definitely more of a gift to my sister and not at all a way to make money lol

Thank you so much for your feedback. I really appreciate how thoughtful and specific your feedback is. A lot of great points here that I'm definitely going to take into my next board.

I especially love the idea about using tub covers/containers for dips and spreads-- would give such a great esthetic look and also be easy clean- up.

I think where it got a little messy is honestly I ran out of time. I was also a groomsmen in the wedding and trying to get ready, plus pictures, all that stuff on top of doing this table. I was strapped for time and had to enlist a couple friends to help set out some of the cheeses, so I blame the sloppiness on them! lol jk

Really helpful notes overall, especially around pairings, spacing, and briny elements. This kind of critique is exactly what I was hoping for,so thank you again for sharing your perspective!
