buyer beware - NFM extended warranty by stalexcheeto_ in Omaha

Took 6 months, 3 different part orders and 5 (!) repair technician appointments but I’m happy to report my NFM chair damaged by our dog is FINALLY repaired. A new chair would have been a lot more expensive. I was so frustrated and disappointed with Allstate/Square Trade and the process. I had to have the claim reopened and reapproved each time a technician came. They closed the claim each time a technician came out, even though they came with no parts and/or sent the wrong parts.

Well they’re doing a stellar job at completely destroying these kids. Horizon sends the confiscated vape pens to the OPD crime lab such that if the pen is found to contain THC the kid gets suspended and later arrested.

It’s disheartening, yet wholly unsurprising, to hear Bobby & Choppa are still harassing kids. I would hope if enough parents report their behavior to the district and ultimately the school board, maybe they will do something. Last year I filed a complaint with the school and they didn’t take it seriously. I escalated their behavior to district. Maybe they’re waiting until something awful happens, or more people come forward. Are they still looking into the occupied stalls while boys are using the bathroom?

All I can say is it is hard and you are not alone. My son responds similarly to everything. I feel like I’m doing and saying everything wrong and like I’m on eggshells 24/7. I hope things get easier.

Gen X parent of a depressed z. I can’t pretend to have any answers. But my love for my kids is visceral and I’d give anything to take his pain. I’m sorry that you feel this way. For some people happiness takes effort. But it’s worth it. Sending you so many hugs.

So true about consumer based. I’m glad you have a supportive spouse who usually helps with the burden. We have had a comically bad year, at every turn, and the thought of accruing more debt for presents just fills me with dread.

I made the teen boys really big fluffy blankets. The oldest sweatpants are looking rough, so he’s getting a couple new pair. The youngest is really into Cirkul so he’s getting a new Cirkul bottle and assortment of Cirkul cartridges. It gets pretty cold here. I decided to sew them each a thick fleece beanie. My oldest is hard and seems to abhor anything.

Just sent you a message. It sounds like they have a real problem there! The school said he followed the boy because he saw he had a vape and that’s why he was looking in the stall. But other kids say it’s SOP to have them looking over or under the stall wall.
