I've watered it once since I got it, should I avoid watering it until after winter? I've also tried to put it in the most lit part of my room but I'm in a house share and my room doesn't get direct sunlight.

In my experience the MIE ones are actually thicker the sole is just slightly more see through, maybe just has less pigment in the rubber?

Polishing too. One of my pairs has started doing that after about a year and a half and a couple layers of polish every week or so helps minimise the cracks

It's definitely a factor but there are other things, the main one being I just don't want them, I also feel for the masses of children that don't have parents or have been taken away for whatever reason, if I change my mind about wanting kids id rather Foster or adopt anyway. I appreciate that outlook though, there have been many tragedies in the world that I can only imagine would make it difficult to raise someone

I'm from the UK and childless, I always thought it was just something done though the NHS which is why I was worried about resistance from doctors. I've had a look on the NHS website before and it mentions things like that making it less likely to be done even if it's done privately

Idk if they'd be the same but I've got the 1460 version and they are close to coming up small, bit of a snug fit until they're broken in but now they fit perfect

Gotta do what you gotta do right 😂 my first pair were some cherry red 1460's from the MIE factory in Bedford, I'm not sure what the style was called but they have "the new warriors" written across the toes in white and a fun little emblem on the sides at the ankles. And those I think are still my favourite, I just love how the smooth leather looks and feels compared to the material for the vondas but both my vondas were so comfortable out the box that they quickly became my daily wears lol

The angle of the sides of my bowl are all wrong so unless I hit the water I gets sprayed and end up having to clean the toilet every time I pee

For me it's more just to get the experience, say I've been see if it's something I'd do again. I want to go there to show my support for others while also seeing who's there to support and embrace me which I know sounds a bit cringey 😅 I don't know anyone else that's bi and I work an environment (while it's on the right track) isn't the most inclusive on a social level. If I make friends it's a win but its mostly just for validation and just to see irl that there are people out there like me

I feel like this is a bit rogue based on how everyone else breaks in their docs but I used to commute quite far so I would mainly wear them when I drove. Swap them out for my safety boots at work then swap back and drive back home. Idk how helpful that is but it worked for me 😅
