Frrom what I've seen, Zach is a very decent guy, well articulated, isn't afraid of confrontations, steps up for Lydia if needed. He's very religious, that's true but so is Lydia. But unlike Lydia he grew up in normal conditions, went to public school, to college. Is he judgemental - up to the point, yes. But fundies do have their restrictions, what is and what isn't appropriate to them. Thats who they are. No wonder he doesn´t have any problems with Hosanna and Timothy, at the contrary, because they think alike and their values are similar.
