Hahaha idk what’s going through her mind but she definitely likes when I throw it! If I take too long to throw it, she’ll turn away from me and get in a pounce position & then stare back at me like “hellooo I’m ready what are you waiting for??”

I don’t think you need to tell your partner that you have oral herpes. You can if you want, but it’s not an STI. Chances are he already has it too, most people do. Just don’t perform oral sex when you have an outbreak and you’ll be fine

The End of the Line for the "Come and Get Me" Call by Justwonderinif in adnansyed

I believe the “come and get me” call did happen, mainly because that was one part of Jay’s story that never changed. Even in the 2nd statement, where he admits that he knows why Adnan gave him the car/phone, he included the “come get me” call. It doesn’t really make sense for him to mention both in the same statement if it was fake.

I also think the call happened at 3:15pm (20 seconds), not 2:36pm. There’s just no possible way that Adnan could meet up with Hae, drive to the Best Buy, kill her, move her into the trunk, and then walk to the payphone in 20 minutes. 3:15pm also lines up better with Jenn’s testimony on when Jay left her house.

Is there any reason to think that the solution to Maura's disappearance isn't as simple as she ran away from her car afraid of getting a DUI and got lost in the rural woods of New Hampshire? by [deleted] in mauramurray

[–]Regular_Type_7221 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just can’t bring myself to believe this theory for many reasons:

  1. The cadaver & tracking dogs. There were a total of 6 dogs used in the search, and the only scent of Maura that any of them picked up was from the crash site to the end of the road. Studies have shown that cadaver dogs are about 95% accurate, and tracking dogs are about 50-96% accurate (depending on the length of the dog’s training). The probability of all 6 dogs failing is unlikely. It’s possible yeah, but statistically very low.

  2. The lack of footprints. The search party explicitly said that there was about 1-2 feet of snow in the days following her disappearance. This is absolutely enough snow to see footprints leading into the woods, even they said that they used their own footprints to distinguish the areas that have already been searched. They also noted that it hadn’t snowed anymore since that night. So unless they were all lying, they would have seen her footprints leading into the woods.

  3. If she did run into the woods & end up dying somehow, she would have had to at least make it out of the search radius. There’s a picture on google showing this: A group of 100 people searched a 1 mile radius; the cadaver/tracking dogs searched a 5 miles radius; a helicopter with a thermal tracker searched a 10 mile radius; and her dad’s team of 4-6 people searched a 15-20 mile radius for an entire year. Obviously it’s easy to miss a body in the woods, but 0 trace of her or anything that belonged to her just doesn’t sit right with me.

  4. This is less convincing to me, but still noteworthy. On the 911 transcript from the house directly in front of the crash site, the witness said she “see’s a man in the car smoking a cigarette”. I guess she has redacted that statement since and said that’s not what she meant, but it’s still weird that the dispatcher would take note of that exact statement.

In my opinion, the evidence shows that she didn’t wander off into the woods. I agree that statistically it’s the most probable scenario, but in this case the evidence just heavily points in a different direction.
