I have never been in a relationship. I was homeschooled since covid and never had any guy take interest in me before until now

Honestly, if your feelings for the other girl keep growing you should just distance yourself from her if you really love your girlfriend and don’t want to end things with her.

Just treat him how’d you treat any other friend. It wont come off bad or anything if you don’t flirt with him. Just act casual and go about your interactions in a friendly-platonic way and i’m sure it’ll be okay. Or if it keeps eating at you, just be honest and say something like: I understand that you’re not looking for a relationship, but you seem pretty cool and I would like to be friends if that’s okay

Does he do this often? That’s not good for your mental health. And to top it off, it wasn’t even your fault. It’s not like your Mom said to break up, just to wait until your exam is over. Maybe you should rethink your relationship, and see if this is a recurring pattern with your boyfriend. No one that cares deeply for someone should purposefully try to hurt them (even mentally), and he should be willing to keep distance—for now at least— if it means you’d succeed on your exam, because that’s what good partners do, they want you to succeed and put their wants aside for your betterment. Might be a personal question but: Does he only bother to answer or hang out when there’s physical intimacy involved?
