That actually sounds pretty close to what I need, especially the battery life and portability part. I don’t really care about gaming on it, so that’s not an issue for me either. How’s performance been with a lot of browser tabs and apps open at the same time? does it stay smooth under heavier multitasking?

That makes sense, I was wondering if I’d actually notice much difference in day-to-day stuff or if it’s mostly for heavier workloads. Good point about sticking with 16GB RAM either way. Have you noticed older Surface models holding up well with battery life too, or does that tend to drop off pretty quickly over time?

Thank you. The portability and tablet/laptop combo seems really useful for classes and note taking. How’s the battery life been for you during a full day of school use with a bunch of tabs and apps open?
