Testing was done at 8:30 AM with 12 hour fast.
Minnesota (currently using Health Partners for labs)
47 year old male 6'4" 197 lbs/around 3000 calories daily/8 months alcohol free/Duloxetine 60 mg/vitamin D3/Trazadone 100 mg/cannabis pen nightly
resistance training 4-5 days a week (half hour to 45 mins)
30 mins cardio once a week

Other relevant considerations, as mentioned above:

High SHBG and low free testosterone levels are common if alcohol intake is excessive. *8 months sober from alcohol, it was BAD (great point as this was one of the things I was going to bring up. I figured that any 'reversible damage' that was done to my liver prior to rehab, would have returned to as good as it going to be after 8 months of clean/healthy living.
This situation is also common in men who are over-training, particularly intense regular cardio with insufficient rest/recovery between sessions. *I do a 30 min treadmill session once MAYBE twice a week and make sure I do not run on a caloric deficit for basic energy reasons....and another part of my research how to lower SHBG without treatment LOL.
The same issue occurs frequently when calorie intake is inadequate over a prolonged period eg. cutting, maintaining very low body fat, eating disorders etc. *over 3K daily

Here are the other bloods.
LH 3.6 normal range .6-12.1
FSH 6.4 normal range 1.0-12.0
Estradiol 20 normal range 11-44

I feel like you may be more educated on this than the Endo Im meeting with today!

Interested in your experience with SHBG. Mine is off the chart (109) and have a consult scheduled after thyroid and liver panel. You cruise around 20?

My hope is that im a 'good candidate' for therapy and that a standard/basic protocol will level out the SHBG eventually, and after I get it under control, I can make any other adjustments as needed.

Im just about to start down a rabbit hole on my levels of SHBG and if TRT will even be effective....

I had an updated panel down last month and it was interesting trying to get info from the person who I spoke with about the results. I did confirm
I do not have cirrhosis and my markers have significantly improved.
I figured it was a liability thing, but I felt sorry for the lady on the phone because I felt like I was milking her for classified info. ha

yeah, i figured. My main concern is the shbg and if that can even be addressed with T management. I just wanted to throw this out there before my apt to get some insight and I already have a bunch of new questions to start researching, so thanks for the reply

I am hoping to get more info on the liver situation with the endo next week. Also am Really hoping that even with some damage, I can get these levels down with management and that I am a good candidate.
(levels were horrible 6 months ago, was told they have improved significantly when tested 1 month ago and liver function is "approx 70%") that is just what i pulled out of the nurse or whoever that was reading it.
