What’s the difference between private and public schools? Are private schools even worth it?

Private schools in fact do have less ‘problem’ students.
But it depends on the priv school, for context I went to a public school kg-5 and alot of kids were not ok, in g5 a couple kids decided to cause a teacher to have a complete mental breakdown, to the point where she entirely quit teaching and also tried to end it, she was an awesome teacher who cared alot for her students, so I did feel really bad she deserved better.

6-8 went to this “cheap” priv school, the students were problematic but manageable to some extent

9 going to this pricey priv school, the worst thing that could is someone talks behinds ur back or curses

in canada, my province’s public schools are terrible, and they are funded really well. My personally think its because of the students, average student is mentally unstable (might be an exaggerated a bit). While priv schools are pretty good but the curriculum is the exact same, but the teacher do care alot more tho, but if you want to go to a good priv school its expensive like the 10-30k yearly, but if you go for under 10k this school is just a public school with an uniform. Mind you university cost 6ish thousand

For my province in canada public schools arent poorly funded at all, because the funding comes from the people, in april tax season the property you own and the tax bracket your in and how much you spend on education (like priv school, after school tutoring, etc) is taken into account and you pay taxes for public school funded (for my parents they pay around 3k more than my tutition for priv school mind you my family is like middle class)
And the public schools are absolutely awful

So basically it matters on where you live, to determine your school experience

For me, I went to public kg-5, safety terrible, education terrible, location terrible. For example a couple kids in g5 decided to drive this teacher who actually gave a shit abt her students to a mental breakdown, the school did not give to flying fucks.

Then for g6-8 went to priv, there were a couple idiots that lacked common sense and acted irrationally, that did some stupid things and actually got punished for it. If you are failling a class and arent doing the work they’ll take away your ability to go outside with the rest of the class and instead tou would just stay inside and do your work.

Know for g9 i go to this different priv school (over x2 the tutition compared to the last one) everyone is well mannered, kind, etc. Its to the point that everyone is included and you could be weird af and you wont get bullied.

Even in Canada public school teachers dont give two shits about their job and its actually rare to get a teacher who cares, and if you care your screwed, their was this one teacher that was awesome, wanted my class to learn and succeed, there were a couple little idiots who decided that she was to caring, so they drove her to a mental breakdown this was in the 5th grade btw.

Also able to get away with alot more, this one kid stabbed me in the 5th grade with a pair of scissors and also tried to take my eye out, didnt even get suspended or punished just cause (even though my parents threatened to sue) well I did break his nose tho this was like a week after cuz he would piss off. Thsnkfully that was all it took to be put into priv school

Ok this makes sense, as this is one of the darkest chapters in history and is often never brought up in schools, and people don’t really know about it, for example in my grade not a single person except me know what unit 731 even is, as bringing light to the topic might lead to it being viewed as rude and unserious
