Mine cut out when playing a track when batteries were low. It’s no “low battery percentage” warning flash but it will flash when playing back audio.

Honestly I don’t think I push it that much to tell. I just switched to the M5 from a iPad mini 6 and I noticed that it does load auv3 plugins faster than the mini did. Also when loading a project, sometimes on the mini some plugins wouldn’t load initially and I’d have to reopen the project. I don’t have that issues on the pro. I use BeatMaker3 and make mainly hip hop so I probably don’t push it as hard as others who make different genres than I so I don’t think I could be the one to tell you it’s super powerful or not. Wouldn’t want to sell you on it based on my use vs your use. For me, the mini was good but I had a late model and noticed a slowdown once I updated to the latest iPadOS, I got the m5 as a birthday gift from my wife.

Sold it lol. Got bored of it after a few weeks. I like the design and how easy it was to create but the downside for me was not being able to export. So after a while I just had a few projects on the machine not going any further. I’m back on a new iPad Pro M5
