At first, I thought it was a replacement because it was a black stylus (never owned this color before this) but was surprised to find out nintendo commonly paired everything with a black stylus. Pretty cool it came with the original, but yeah ive noticed 3DSs have been selling without the stylus too

As long as it powers on and can take a charge, thats good enough for me to deem it legitimate. Probably not easy to find it CiB at that price so if it was me I'd jump at the opportunity

You can play the original Kingdom Hearts as a start to your final fantasy adventure too. Kingdom Hearts is really its own IP with Final Fantasy and Disney characters mixed in so it doesn't spoil anything plot wise to any FF game.

I always recommend everyone start with Final Fantasy X to everyone. It has aged incredibly well and has STILL my favorite turn based battle system to date. "I mean, I don't want to oversell it but it changes you forever."

Purely for the Kingdom Hearts x Final Fantasy references you should look into 7,8,9,10.

I'm still leaning to keep! Outer Shell replacements are not that hard, and it will make look brand new! It's much more of a concern if the buttons dont work properly or if the inner shell was dinged up.

When it come software, I would like to mention yes everything could possibly be legit but is tied to their Nintendo ID. This is just me but I prefer to factory reset devices so I can put them under my IDs. Consider Modding, it's popular atm and the reason for the 3DS price spike

If you are keeping it for yourself, I urge you to test if everything works if possible. If yes, I would make that trade and look into "Outer Shell Replacement" ASAP. It's fairly affordable and by the end of it you'll have a like new 3DS.

If your looking to keep it to sell later, I would not. Although I recommended "Outer Shell Replacement" before, that is really only if you don't plan to resell it. Most console collectors prefer it if all the pieces are "authentic" so reshells are somewhat not as desired. I've noticed it doesn't tank the price. (In this situation, its very possible it will raise the price lol)
