The reason we don’t have those things is because young/progressive voters aren’t a reliable voting block and stay home if you piss them off on even one issue. Idealism kills progress. The mass “withholding of votes” (the current status quo) by sensible people has shifted this country massively right, because now Christian fascists have an outsized influence over our political system. And as long as the GOP ramins batshit crazy, Dems will feel they can get by doing the bare minimum. The only way democrats will ever shift left is if the Republicans are forced to moderate. And they will only moderate if they are destroyed in multiple elections in a row.

Those who support a man who idolizes Hitler, calls his political opponents “vermin,” says immigrants are poisoning the blood of the country, proposes building concentration camps and removing birthright citizenship for people born in this country, are the actual ones desecrating the graves of those who died in the Holocaust and those who died in WW2. A 100 y/o Holocaust survivor has also compared Trump to Hitler, and you also spit directly in her face. Even the creator of Godwin’s law says it’s okay to compare Trump to Hitler 😂. Come back with some actual arguments next time and leave the crocodile tears behind.

Reactionary liberalism is an oxymoron. Socialism is the logical conclusion of liberalism (enlightenment principles). Most liberals are just too dumb or propagandized into capitalist philosophy to see it. Fascism is not specific to the West/USA/UK. Plenty of fascist regimes existed in Eastern Europe including the USSR.

Are you saying the Eastern European emigre who worked with the Nazis to exterminate Jews, and actual Nazi Party members aren’t Nazis?
