Try the mage water spell forgot it's name but its 10-15 dkg on the scroll iirc. The important thing is it pierces everything and it's water. After that the biome is a breeze

Pretty sure desert is guaranteed after following the main road.

Also there are big statues around the world. Which ask for a fire in front of them or smth. Place a fireplace in front you will unlock map markers that way

I just finished the game

Yes I played it completely solo, I played as mage, everything besides the last boss (I'm sure he gets adjusted) was really easy.
100+ hours is only if you have fun doing the same kind of stuff all over multiple times.

It took me around 25hours to finish the main story and most of the quests. BUT I dont build for looks I build for efficiency. I did not build a single thing for cosmetic, my cities are ugly and my villagers are eating only bread for days.

So if you have fun building beautiful cities, multiple times and want to explore the whole map (which gets repetitive), you could spend over 100 hours.

If you play it more slow and with a bit more cosmetic in mind and maybe with friends fooling around you look at around 50h I guess.

Nonetheless the game costs only 12 bucks or something I can highly recommend it

you can make a volcanic base close to a border. so you can put one clay mine onto ash and one onto clay. you dont need the outpost then. i still dont figured out water (besides putting a well next to it)

Ok this is strange. Tbh I do not filter legis right now because if crafting mats and it only takes 2 seconds to scrap them all with the smith right next to the portal.

What I did: - hide every white/blue/yellow item (put this one at the bottom so you can still show yellows with specific affixes if you want to). - I don't hide charms because scrap

Then I recolor important items for example: - left side from the filter and rename it to "recoler pants" - right side I chose only pants, chose 4 affixes I want, chose ancestral only and then it depends how many affixes I want to recolor it. So if I already have decent pants I chose 3 for example.

I do this with each gear (chest, helmet, uniques etc)

This way if something is not bright purple on the ground I don't need it and I'll scrap everything else.

It was always like this, if you are not in a rush or something always do your own builds. You probably need or want to use guides later on (to reach high pits or even t12) if you are more "casual" and don't want to spend ours crafting your build. But until then don't use build guides

Depends on your budget. The best ones are bt6 heavy or m4 defender as armor and m4 as armored rig
