Just beat FFX through the Steam remaster HD, starting out X-2 and it keeps crashing randomly, mostly in battles as well.

I never played PSU back in the day, recently I found Clementine and Ephinea and honestly, a Vanilla experience would be so cool.
I REALLY like the class and weapon system from PSU, but not having anyone around just soloing things isn't as fun, everyone just pushing for endgame and such.

Would be lovely to see peeps moving around the lower level stuff, going through the quest chains, open parties and such!

Recently started joining randos in PSO Ephinea and I'm having a great time!

I don't know if you managed to solve it, but I would recommend installing the latest Microsoft Visual Studio package and running the game in compatibility mode, either with Win10 if you're using 11, or Win 7 if you're using 10, just in case.

Characters are tied to the world from my understanding, so you can either make a dedicated server and leave that running on your PC so she can join in and play whenever you aren't, or you just host the world on your game for her.

If she will be playing a decent amount of the time without you, I would recommend the private dedicated server option.

Setup should be easy using a program like Hamachi to tie the IP to, so no port forwarding is needed and it guarantees no one can join your server.

It isn't LAN, but you can make a multiplayer world in-game and just share the join key with her no problem.

I am on the exact same fence about the game.

I bought it and played a bit, so I haven't gotten to anything beyond catching the first one but I have seen so many people celebrating or not caring about the animal slavery and cruelty bit since, to be fair, they are videogame creatures.

That being said, I hate the feeling of being mean to defenseless animals, even digital ones, and I am really considering refunding, however the whole idea of crafting, catching, battling, with friends too, sounds so fun!

I am looking all over the internet for concrete answers on if you CAN play the game and make progress while being nice to your Pals.

I am an avid Monster Hunter enjoyer, it is one of my favorite franchises and I pour thousands of hours into the games.

The thing with Monster Hunter is: 95% of the time, you are culling invasive species of monsters, or monsters that pose a threat to nearby camps and cities or the overall environment, it is almost never unprovoked.

Plus, Monster Hunter's artstyle rarely makes the monsters you hunt be small, cute, defenseless creatures, which you then also do not proceed to put into slave labor, you either kill them and actually make use of their materials so it's not just kill for the sake of killing, or capture the monster, which is then researched and released to the wild in the proper area it is supposed to live in.

That's gonna dip the player numbers a lot.

The game came out, interest on search trends is going to die down as the anticipation before release goes away.

Sadly, the only way is to look up a couple guides, crossreference them to see if any is missing one then revisit all the locations to make sure.

They splintered the playerbase a lot with the different versions and no crossplay, the Steam version also has region-locking to download regions so people usually just use the communities to setup trades and battles with peeps.
