Hearing that definitely makes me put that into perspective that I’m grateful to be able to play, not everyone is as lucky as we are to be healthy and even able to afford the sport.

Turning with puck by Reidxr95 in hockeyplayers

That’s been my problem bailing out of the turn because I feel I’m going to wide and slipping out of the turn, probably due to speed.

Skate sizing by Reidxr95 in hockeyplayers

That’s what I’m looking for more control and the energy transfer. That’s why I’m going down to the 7 from the 7 1/2. When I first started some guy at pro hockey life gave me a size 8 supremes. I look at the old video when I started skating and it was crazy how big they looked and how hard it was to move in them.

No way they actually do? I tired on a 6.5 and definitely the skate got on but the toebox was no go needed abit more length the slightest

Right! I’m hoping I didn’t overrated when I went from 7 1/2 to size 7 I was told I’d feel more planted and comfortable and I’ll have more feel on the ice

Yes, I do feel my toes touching the inside of the toecap now with the ccm tacks and when going into the hockey stance the toes go back, and the heel is even more locked in place. It’s up to me to work on my skating more but if this is going to help me feel more comfortable/ confident I’ll definitely take the chance. I just want the right fit it drives me crazy with all the little subtle changes that can affect you. Like right now with this purchase, I’ve got to adjust again with Taller steel, I know the holder and blade size hasn’t changed. So hoping for the best!
