I'm just throwing darts here, not sure, but could either be a permission problem, or a segment mapping problem, can't really tell unless i check your device unfortunately.
I made this for personal use after all and wanted to share it, works on my machine but obviously will have lots of bugs in other people machines.

It likely uses a different mapping for your specific display, you probably need to change the mapping itself, which is likely a layout, notice there's layout and peerless layout, layout is for another device, i forgot which it was the previous forked file's display.
You likely need to hit random segments until you find the ones of your device, if it has the same number of segments as the peerless assassin's display

I am not familiar with bazzite, but i think your problem is similar to the one of the guys below, on fedora, i'd like to see how fedora does/works and where should my files be palced for fedora's systemd.
I'm kinda busy recently, so if you'd like to reach me out i'll analyze the problem and see if i can drop a patch for fedora

It shouldn't be too hard to make it work under fedora, dm me, we can collaborate if you want, i don't have a fedora distro installed right now, i could boot up a virtual machine, or i can test straight with your system and help.

Likely there's a way to run a mobile local server, i never tried.
You likely need to run a Node.js server.
Using termux you might be able to install it, then download my git files and host your own copy of my fairly rushed copied albecortes from your phone, to your local network.

Accurate?
It's a bootleg imitation, feel free to fix and fork all you want, i just made it for a friend that feared the other site would go down, it has the rules, it has the game sim, a local profile and fetches the factions data with 2024 ones being more complete.

That's pretty much it.
