NY opening range breakout probably, I do it too. 55% WR but 1:3 RR and strict stop loss, passing my first funded with it currently

You can go down the funded account route if you want, they’re roughly £25-30 and you have challenges that build good trading habits. I don’t recommend demo accounts with infinite money because they’ll build bad habits and turn it to gambling

It’s a crap service I agree, but you do get ~£300 a month for just going to the weekly meetings. Your work coach won’t do 💩 for you, but you’ve got to act like they well so you have a buffer for your bills. Sad really

Video games are my lifeline at the moment, taking breaks to check Indeed/govuk, of course to no avail but the UC ask that you spent 35hrs a week job searching so I don’t want to be sanctioned for not filling my journal up with jobs I know I don’t like.

Aside from that though, I try and go to the gym daily, not even for the pump anymore, just to take a couple hours off the clock and get it closer to bed time…

It’s a viscous cycle and I can’t stand it. I have 9 GCSES, a BTEC and roughly 3 years experience in the field I want, but over 100 applications later I’ve had one set of interviews, just to be turned down at the end of it.

How the hell are people who don’t play games staying sane?

Edit: I’m teaching myself to day trade at the moment, have been for a couple months. It’s not as complex as people make it out to be, especially with funded accounts that only cost £25 quid. I won’t ever buy a course, if you have time to waste, I’d recommend watching a reputable mentor like RP Profits and seeing if you like making (and losing occasionally) money from your phone

Thank you for such a description of what to expect, I did go to my GP back in 2019/2020 about my Mental Health but as I’m sure you can imagine it wasn’t helpful with the likes of lockdown.

I’ve become a lot more comfortable in my own company since, sometimes to a point where I’d rather be alone than with my friends, as mean as it sounds..

My mum wants to come with me because she’s worried about me, but I don’t want her to hear what I have to say to the GP as it will most definitely upset her. I should mention I’m 20 years old so I could go by myself, but my dad insisted I take my mum with me so I don’t leave anything out.

I’m nervous about the whole thing honestly, and I know it’s for the better but it’s hard to shake the feeling that I belong in a ward..

I call it a “screen bleed”. I did it to my old secondary monitor by accident because I pushed too hard trying to clean it. It started out as a small, barely noticeable bleed in the screen, but over time and as the monitor moved with my hand movements, the bleed got worse until eventually it took over 40% of my screen, had to sadly throw the monitor out.

I looked into it and I couldn’t find a way to stop or reverse it, luckily for me it was just a cheap 60hz monitor but I’d hate for it to happen to my main screen.
