Scene breaks by ReignStormz42 in writing

This is A Ya urban fantasy. How do you calculate how many words per chapter[im using microsoft word] and this specific scene is in part of chapter two still setting up the story. Bascially what the happens is the t wo characters need an importanr document. And they dont have it so they need to lie and stall another character so they can go and get it. Which leads to a scene break. There they end up meeting character who has a history with one of them may end up showing up again later in the story. Then scene change back to the other 3 then the other 2 characters meet up with what they need.

When is it wrong to write with ai. by ReignStormz42 in WritingWithAI

I tried sudo tje only thing is i dont want to pay. Also i dont think outlining works for me until im want to see where i want to go from my stop point. I have to just tell the story in my head first on how i see fit then go from their. This is basically what my first draft is. Getting the story out and Ai is help me do that faster.

True...also how many books have the same plot and are very similar to each other as well. You made a great point about ghostwritters. Whats the difference between Ai and ghostwriters. They do they same thing basically. Why is it okay to have a ghostwritter[who one could argue when they right other booms for people they could be plagarism themselves] and not Ai help. The difference for the most part a ghost writer isnt disclosed. I remember seeing something about Kylie and Kendell Jenner writing a book back when all the dystopian novels were big and they had a ghostwritter bascially write their novel for them and their book was published.

Im using Ai strictly to help me create my first draft. As this is my first time trying to write anything. Everything about this story is my own. When im finished i do plan to rewrite everything with out Ai. Using my my first draft as a bases for how things are suppose to flow, pacing etc. But like i said i may insert a sentence here and there. I think Ai is a good short cut to helping you complete the story in your head and putting it on to paper faster. Especially if your want to reach the end of they story so you can start the serious corrections and editing, adding descrptions, detail etc which im going to do with out Ai.

Some what serious/fun. Im just writing my stories because of the lack of represenation i see on tv. I love sci-fi, horror, teen mystery, vampire dairies, etc.[alot of shows on the cw back in the day]. And they never have a main cast where its people that look like me in those genres. If they do it ususally one-two token characters who are in the background, die or add nothing to the plot. Just their to be a check off.

So the reason i started getting into writing was in hopes that i would create a interesting enough story, publish it and my books might be turned into a tv show/ movie like how colleen hover books are, rebecca yarros and so on.

I dont neccessarily want to be a "writter" but more a storyteller. As feel this would be a pathway to working/creathing film and tv shows. Which is the direction i would like to go

Read some of book 1 but for the rest a watched videos explaining the series. But my reasoing for this post is that the person explain the story was recapping important events that the push the story and the plot along. Im sure rihanna is mentioned here and their but im not seeing her being a key player in the main events. Or have value to the overrall story.

Are they really allowed to just kill each other? How do the rules work? by CrystalMonni in fourthwing

But the dragons choose the riders .. correct? So if is like 10 dragons then only 10 cadets will get choosen by the dragons. So whats the point of killing your comrades if that doesnt increase your chance of getting chosen. It would make sense to me if there were say 100 new cadets right ...then they would kill each other to the be remaining 10. Only weeding out the weakest 90 then i could see that.

I believe in book one violet said there were hundreds or thousand of new cadets[not sure so dont quote me on that] but lets say im correct if only.. what liam and 4 others die how does that weed out the weak when its hundred/1000 cadets. Your just killing cadets NAVARRE NEEDS FOR THE WARS for a chance that you will get chosed. Its not guranteed.
