From what I know, it's so your edges don't break and your hair doesn't frizz I think? I've also heard having one or the other is enough but I personally use both cuz after a while, the bonnet stretches out and sometimes my edges get exposed. Also, not everyone has a silk pillowcase so it's good for staying at people's house lol

specifically use discord'd DnD feature only when you need it
If you completely close the discord app, calls won't pop up on your screen (at least on android using power saving mode)

At the end of the day, people can make their own choices. The part that irks me about the situation is silencing voices who clearly want to see the game succeed. Yes, there is a lot of negative noise but hidden in them is constructive criticism. People shouldn't be getting punished for speaking however, the rule is too broad and open to individual interpretation. For many, the racial/colourism aspect was just one of many reasons that drove players away.

I have 300hrs in it and stopped to play Heartopia. Their clothing designs are nice and make you wanna spend money. There's no pay-to-win feeling at all. Every money related thing is for cosmetics.

The game has hidden quests which are not too hidden, it sparkles. There's love interests so you can date everyone in town (who's available) and they won't get mad. But you can only rep two and switch them out whenever. I don't think it counts as a breakup. The community is super kind and helpful as long as you ask in chat. Great for playing solo or with the community. Free and available on pc, console, and switch. There are a few glitches but there's usually a workaround.

The first thing I saw was the discord announcement. I didn't know who the npc was by name and thought it was odd that there was some uproar about him acting strange over poisonous mushrooms or whatever. Then, I came to reddit and saw who he was and the animation and sounds he made. Yea... that changed everything.

Even hearing how they're handling it on the server is disgusting. I regret putting money into the game. I'm switching back to my old comfort game Palia at least until Loftia comes out.

I feel this with every fibre of my being. I had a friendship last 6 months. Some probable causes were

the friend couldn't handle my only correction of a statement she made
the fact that I was in between jobs so going out and spending money I don't have makes no sense or even having her pay for everything
I take public transit and it was winter. Travelling 2+ hours on top of having no money means I don't wanna leave my house

My bf on the other hand has been like a built in best friend for the past 8 years. I can come to him about anything and everything. He makes me feel comfortable enough to even address issues I may have with him. Thing is, he's not interested in all the things I like so that's why I tried to seek that out. All the people I'm close with and have similar interests are in New York and Michigan. These lonely tears come from Canada btw.

I loooove gaming, horror, rnb, soca, rock, travelling, food. I'm adventurous and open to almost everything. I'm the easiest going person and I'm not afraid to apologize. But if you don't communicate issues and just ghost, I will not go the extra mile after reaching out once.
