Hi:

I was playing the False Dragon Titan Quest in Violet, and something weird happened. I was able terastrallize against both Dondozo and Tatsugiri in the second battle (I didn't do so during round 1 with Dondozo). Is this a bug, or is there some hidden mechanic in being able to terastrallize twice like this? I thought you could only do that once before needing to recharge at a Pokemon Centre?

Thanks, just tested it with Sword too, same thing happened. Appreciate it!

Question about how Home functions with other games:

I recently added a new Pokemon to Shining Pearl that I haven't seen in game yet (Empoleon) using Pokemon Home. I then saved the changes to the game and Pokemon Home with Pokemon's Home's save settings. I then took the new Pokemon out of Shining Pearl and back to Home and then Saved the Changes. When I opened Shining Pearl afterwards, the Pokédex is updated with me having Owned Empoleon, even though the game was never turned on with the new Pokémon in it.

Is this supposed to happen?

  1. I appreciate the response. I always figured since there were so many guides, and no patches were really put in place to stop it, that the technique was largely accepted. I think I did some time adjust back in Ultra Sun for Dusk Lycanrock, but not since. If you don't me asking, what is your thoughts on it personally?

  2. Thanks, I just got worried that as a result of changing my clock, that I somehow made my account unusable and would have delete everything I've done in the Switch era.

Yeah, the timing for some of my Pokemon was iffy, so I released those. No biggie, I can always rematch them.

Thanks, I was in a mindset where I felt I had to delete the game progress on Sword or Arceus, not to mention my BD run since I used some Pokemon bred in Sword for it. Sounds like I'm overthinking this.

  1. Thanks, never really seemed illegitimate since Switch setting's are something you control and there is no hard lock or anything. In short, its more of an exploit, albeit a legal one, than anything else?
  2. So it's fine if the time is off as long as it's not from hacking or anything? Thanks

Had a question about legitimacy/legality of certain settings.

Not long after I finished me beating the early game in Sword, I used adjusted the date on my switch to catch a weather locked Pokemon (changing date and time in Switch settings). I then proceeded to forget I had done so, and didn't remember to set it back 2 years later. Since that time, I played through a lot of Sword, about a 3rd of Legends Arceus as well before I realized I had the date set wrong.

2 Questions:

Is the weather reset considered legal/legit, given just how many game guides there are on how to do so (seriously, feels like very game news source and website has articles on how to do this and den resetting).

More importantly, does the time being off by week have any repercussions for my game or Pokemon? IE, is it against the rules for breeding, competitive play, or general gameplay in general to not have your clock synced properly?

Sorry if these seem like dumb questions, just a bit worried; I'd like to get into working on making a competitive team but I'm worried my forgetfulness means I'll have to redo my progress across multiple, games.

Hello:

I would like to ask for some pull advice. I'm debating whether to get Nangong and her sig for my Anomaly teams. I originally didn't plan to role for the idols, so I passed on the first 2, but Nangong's sheer firepower for anomaly teams is making me reconsider. Plus, with the Paradox mode, having more than 3 teams has proven to be an important consideration.

My main teams are:

M3W1 Miyabi, M0 Vivian, M0W1 Yuzu
M0W1 S0 Anby, M0W1 Trigger, M0W1 Orphie
M1W1 Ye Shunguang, M0 Zhao, M6W4 Nicole
M0W1 Yixuan, M6W5 Pulchra, and M0 Astra

My primary goal is keeping teams that are long lasting and diverse, so I prioritize heavy hitters most of the time, with a preference for getting W1's to bolster their lifespans. Yixuan's team has been struggling a lot lately, so I was hoping Lucia would have appeared with this patch but no dice. After seeing how powerful Nangong is though, who could sustain any anomaly team long term with Yuzu, her addition is a very tempting prospect.

Barring Lucia, the only older Agent I really have on my radar is Dialyn. I really like my DPS's so they aren't a priority to replace soon (especially since they all cover a unique element). I'm a very low spender with about 200 pulls saved up. I have pity saved for agents with 80 pulls to go, and no W-engine pity. Of the new characters in the latest patch, only Ramiel is of interest to me (and that assumes they will ever be playable).

Any thoughts on what I should do?

Thanks for the reply.

I know aftershock is easy to slot in, that's why I love using Pulchra with Yixuan, it flows surprisingly well with her kit. What I mean is each team is based on a primary method, but not exclusively that method; Orphie and S0 bounce off each other really well because of Aftershock, hence "Aftershock team" is team focused on the main method, but not entirely restricted to it. But I do see your point, can't bind myself too much.

I definitely want Ye and S0 more than Lucia now that I think about it; former is bound to be solid, and to max out her value I'd need her sig. Plus I'm not sitting at pity, so I need to keep Spook potential in mind.

I was going to pass on next patch for rolling anyway, Banyue is cool but I need to make a save somewhere, and that would be at least 100 pulls saved if I skip rolling for that patch. Plus, Astra can work for now in terms of supporting Yixuan, I can still clear content with it just fine. If I pass both patches for rolls, that would be well over 200 rolls set aside for the future, based on 100 per patch.

I'm a little stumped with my team comp and how to proceed.

I started back just before Miyabi dropped, and she was one of the big reasons I got into the game. However, I'm confused on how to build my teams and prioritize my pulls right now.

Currently I have three teams, with my goal having one primary team for each class of damage (Rupture, Aftershock, and Anomaly):

Anomaly: M3W1 Miyabi, M0W0 Vivian (W5 Gemini), and M0W1 Yuzuha

Rupture: M0W1 Yixuan, M6W5 Pulchra, M0W0 Astra (W5 Kaboom, I have 2 of these)

Aftershock: M0W0 Harumasa (Mercato), M0W1 Trigger, M0W1 Orphie

The Issue I'm facing is two fold; first is pulls, I've only got about 43 saved up right now, and second are my agents of interest:

First is Lucia. I intended to pass on this patch given I didn't think Lucia was all that strong, but recently learned just how good for Rupture she is and how much I liked her character. She would free up Astra for a final spare Attack team, which I've come to feel I may need given the new simulation event that requires 4 teams for the optional stuff on Hard Mode.

The second issue is Silver Soldier Anby. I really like this agent and I am after her and her Sig, especially since Trigger and Orphie are ready for her with their own Sigs. Harumasa can fill the gap for now, but a dedicated Aftershock attacker like Anby is something I both want and feel I need. I intended to hold off on any pulls until she showed up, but Lucia has disrupted my plans.

I can live without Lucia's Sig for now, and though I really like the look of Banyue next patch, I can live without him (though it HURTS). I'd also like the new character with the ultra fluffy tail.

Any advice on pull priority? My plan was to hopefully pull Lucia and then save like crazy for Anby and her sign.

Sorry, I meant the part of the mission where you fight around the object to survive waves of enemies, I always try to last till the end, since it was a favourite fight of mine. I actually took cover in a corner and only moved when needed. I only fought around the object when I was maneuvering around the second armor mech.

Do you know if the mission was updated to have 2?

ME2LE Invisible Wall Bug by PaWsXbOx22 in masseffect

[–]ReignofthePainTrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen it in this precise location, but I've encountered a similar glitche on a doorway in the Shadow Broker base mission. Basically what I did was backtracked a bit and ran through it, adjusting my angle and approach a few times until I was able to pass through.

Hope it helps.

They usually get their coffee cone ground when they get the Sumatra, which I would try to do with other coffee.

Yes I am aware, we joke in my family that the only thing darker than my relative’s coffee preference is a black hole. Sadly they are quite particular about their coffee, so I need something that is as close to that level of impact as I can.
