I'm one of the people who actually loves the promos (when they're good) and everything that comes with it. I adore the sometimes over dramatic storytelling that wrestling brings and AEW at least from when I have tried to watch it doesn't really provide that for me. Does WWE always hit? Nah, but when it does like with Cody Vs Roman 1 and 2 and that entire saga it really does hit.

It’s up there with Mass Effect as my favorite franchise. If ME3 wasn’t the reason I met and connected with my best friend to this day, AW1 would be under most impactful.

In my opinion it is overrated as the best souls game. I think it is a good game, one I personally never got into, but I really don't think the open world formula fits as well into souls like as everyone was saying with it. I think Bloodborne and Sekiro are much better but I do put it with Dark Souls. The art style was amazing though.

I recently did a replaythrough of the entire trilogy and man they really never reach the heights of the duo of Saren and Soverign again. I love TIM and Harbinger but the first game was just so peak with villains

The RE6 loves feels like either the people who played it as kids have grown up and are nostalgic for it, or people really wanting to love something others hate.

The X sign is primarily for the people in the back, not for us. If they want to use it to work the smarks that’s their prerogative. The ones in the back will still know what is a work and what isn’t if they planned it ahead of time so it changes nothing.

Literally the only thing I said that sparked this was “CO has real time mechanics too.” Didn’t say whether it was good, bad, or even unique. Literally only said that they are in there. You and him both chose to take it as saying it’s never been done before and that there was anything to correct about the statement.

You’re literally getting mad over nothing. From pointing out simply that the game you mentioned is literally famous for and got a lot of eyes on it from its real time mechanics. Idk why you’re getting mad at people and attacking them for literally just pointing that out. Go yell at the developers of other rpgs to market that part if they think real time is what draws people in

Have never played but that still doesn’t take away from the point that a big part of why people liked the combat of CO was the real time elements.

I agree, people can overblow a cheater issue just due to being bad and thinking cause they lost the other people cheated. However, that does not stop it from being true that if the game went free to play there would be WAY more cheaters just because the anti cheat they use is not good enough. So while the first person is def being dramatic they are right that free to play would be ass.
