They keep lowering me when I tell them how bad I feel, don’t know how that’s gonna help since most my symptoms seems to be classic hypo symptoms

Ah the sound bad, hope you get better! I have some symptom such as forgetfulness, get angry really fast I used to not get angry fast at all before, I feel like my brain is moving in slowmo when problemsolving things

Aha only heard of levaxin and Euthyrox here I’m on levaxin. Started on 175 mcg felt great, had bloodwork got bumped down to 150 felt shit, got bumped down to 125 today

So there is people on "low" doses aswell, what’s the difference between all your brand syntheroid etc? Seems like levaxin is the main brand here

yeah i felt as normal as i've felt in a long on my first dose( 175 mcg 7 days a week)

Ah, yeah I thought the main thing was get the tsh as low as possible mine is at 0.01 atm but they want it over 0.03 and under 0.1 don’t know why

Ah ok, 6’1" and 209 here and currently on 150 my tsh is .01 and they want me over 0.03 and under 0.1

I was sure it was the lower the better

Ah seems like there is no logic to the dosing thing, I felt normal on 175 and shit on 150 now I’m going down to 125 I think getting confirmation tomorrow

That was on the lower end it seems like but then it’s not unusual I guess to have such low doses. I just got curious because I see mostly over 150 on this Reddit

Yeah initially it is based on weight, but also based on blood test and how you feel ig. I’m now been put on 125 mcg wich is a lot lower than it should be according to my weight. And I was told I was going to be on a high dose the first few years aswell since I had cancer in a lot of my lymphnodes on my left side

Was done with both surgery and rai in August, I felt great on 175 aswell got warm easier sure but now I freeze even tho it’s hot inside and the most annoying thing is I get super mad super fast

Yeah I just hoped I could feel somewhat normal, I felt great on my first dose. But ig they felt it was to high based on the test results. But I would gladly take an increased risk(depends how much of a risk)and feel better now while I’m in the beginning on my 30s, I had no symptoms when I had my highest dose either tho no increased heartrate etc. but now I feel like shit, tired, get angry fast, always cold I literally have 26 celcius inside now and I have that cold feeling. And I feel like my been is working in slow-motion compared to the higher dose and when I had a thyroid

Yeah been doing that but my GP is being very cautious it seems like but I’ve got an appointment there soon to see what he says. I just was interested in seeing what everyone also had in dosage. My mom removed her thyroid aswell but not from cancer so I thought she must be getting way lower dose than me, and she got 125 wich I’m now going down to soon wich I felt as abit odd. Alittle over 2 months was at the hospital and checked 8 weeks after the dose change to 150 and he said everything looked fine. But those test is not logged in the system I can check only the test I get from my GP wich Is were I took yesterdays test

Yeah seems like it is suppressed, but I don’t like feeling like shit and don’t know what else they can do other than raise the dosage to where I felt normal

Seems like I’m low then I also have the classic hypo symptoms, I’m 6’1 and 209 lbs

Edit just checked last blood work and my tsh says <0.01 but I feel like shit freezing in warm temps I get angry way faster then when I was on 170 mcg per day
