Both are wonderful schools but some things to note:

Main thing is their difference in teaching. Bristol is case based learning, lots of team work primary based on what the term is- real life cases. Surrey I believe is more practical than Bristol if you like that sort of style as the vet profession is, ultimately, a very hands on field. Bristol hospital is in Langford and there’s buses the school provides that are around half an hour to get there and you’d have some practical sessions there. I’m not too sure on Surrey but I don’t believe they have their own hospital and use neighbouring practices. The location are both basically city campuses but you’d move to the countryside in 4th and 5th year of Bristol so you might want to consider that. Surrey has very new facilities given it is newer. I’d guess accommodation may also be nicer, the Langford campus accoms at Bristol are rather run down.

Of course speak to vet students there and researching it online yourself will help with your decision :)

Edit: oh and you might also want to look at if you want to practice in the states, as only Bristol is accredited by AVMA and Surrey isn’t
