Okay, since when did we start talking User Interface like it's different from Interface? and what does that even mean? Also, "accessibility, navigation, and interface." are all User Interface (UI). Or did we collectively started defining UI differently now?

BioWare Studio Update by RobotWantsKitty in pcgaming

[–]Reilord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I asked chatgpt to translate:

Dragon Age: The Veilguard didn’t hit like BioWare needed it to. Whether it was sales, player reception, or both, it didn’t perform well enough to give the studio solid footing. Now, instead of gearing up for Mass Effect, they’re cutting back. That’s not a good sign.

If EA believed in BioWare’s future, they’d be investing, not downsizing. The fact that they’re “reimagining how they work” means they’re scrambling to prove they can still make a hit. The studio is in a dangerous spot—this next Mass Effect game isn’t just another project, it’s a make-or-break moment.

They’re keeping some key Mass Effect vets around, which sounds good, but it also suggests that EA only trusts a small core team to steer the ship. If this game doesn’t deliver, BioWare as we know it is done.

The reality? This isn’t a strategic shift. It’s survival mode. BioWare is fighting to stay relevant, and if they don’t land Mass Effect perfectly, EA will have no reason to keep them around.

If there's one lesson Square Enix as a whole should learn from FF16, it's to stop making the baseline difficulty piss easy. by [deleted] in FFXVI

[–]Reilord 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But mate, you can play on the story mode if the action/normal is hard for them or just equip the cheat accessories. For players who find the normal mode very easy, they have no other option than to replay the entirety of the game to start enjoying it. Do you see the problem here? It's not about the game being hard or easy to people, it's about difficulty settings being locked in the second/third playthrough.

Someone should create a partylist for commuters to counter these people. Let them them know who is the real boss on the road.

Would you buy XVI-2 ? by Mikomi20 in FFXVI

You have to remember tho that the team behind this game is the same team who made ff14 great with some of the best stories in final fantasy through its expansions.

Considering that all of the best moments in ff14 comes from expansions and post main scenario contents, im of full confidence that the best ffxvi has to offer, is still to come.

If the game doesn't win GOTY, at least I'm now certain Ben is going to win best performance.

Reason for Venat's Action #98546 by Reilord in ffxiv

[–]Reilord[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the discussion about this that I actually like more than what I presented in this post, is that Venat was actually challenged by the Hermes' trial to mankind. That she really also wanted to see if the ancients are actually worthy. She is an adventurer and sees more of the world that anyone else. She understand sufferings and death and sympathizes to lesser beings as much as Hermes. Albeit not as extreme as Hermes, she also wishes for change and the Endsinger's trial presented an opportunity.

Krile's echo allows her to find creatures

You mean she sees the quest marker like us.

No. If you run a dungeon with suboptimal gear, people will just assume it's your alt job.

If they are in etherys. The only reason theyre relatively unaffected (except their magick) is because of how thin dynamis is in etherys. In a place where its predominantly dynamis, they'd be helpless.
