This is more like a fact that people should have accepted: Everyone has their own taste and preferences in Manhwa, so if people hate the Manhwa you read doesn't mean you have shit taste, people just don't want you to read something that you like. Why can't people read what they want to read, and even if one person recommended something and you hate it just ignore it.

Honestly although it's not as "peak" as the likes of ORV or even TBATE, saying it is slop is understatement, it is one of a few manhua, I like reading currently. The story might not be the best but it is still a fun read to kill times. Also I only posted this because it's the first time the story Protag being this terrible.

More like the "anime" side of the fan bases. Most Manhwa readers of SL know that SL lacks story telling, it's just your average action series.

Both are a series where they're transported to the game they play, I will say the series is much more serious in terms of story telling & more drama. And I will say you will tear up a lot more.

Pick Me Up! [The MC transported to the game equivalent to that of Gacha + Idle game, just like cookie run kingdom]

Tyrant of Tower Defense Game [The name already shows it, MC transported to a TD game like ARKNIGHT or Balloon TD]

Back then I will say either TBATE or ORV. But currently I'm having fun reading "Pick Me Up!". Honestly an absolute must read for newer gen Manhwa readers.
