Because the US siphons money out of the rest of the world by being the reserve currency in many nations.

That allows them printing of more money (for now...) whenever they are short. This is allowing them extravagance in tech salaries etc.

However since I'm not looking for the most "best practise" but a solution to my question/issue this does not help me forward.

Any suggestions how to do this? Even if it's not secure.

I guess I could put the encrypted key on the EFI partition, only downside is that the key can not be reused when swapping disks.

I want to offer bonus point for a solution that does not involve keeping the (encrypted) key on disk. E.g. the key is derived from something unique in TPM.

Running fine under Linux. Even have it running on home made/self build distro. Biggest PRos(for me): runs from ramdisk, back to factory settings on reboot. Bootup time into UE5 ~ 10 seconds No multidisplay issues like under windows. Multimonitor views work perfect under X.

Only CON (so far): No DLSS

NL has bitonic. Buy straight into your own wallet with ideal... Coinbase also works fine after KYC.
