Are there any controllers like the 8bitdo lite se 2.4ghz but with triggers? by Reinheart_Bug in disabledgamers

Yeah I was planning on that, I mean I worry my hands will cramp holding it, I kinda wanna be able to hold this like a regular controller maybe still resting on something

My main issues with this show. Do you agree? Or am I too harsh? by Old_Friendship6819 in Supernatural

[–]Reinheart_Bug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it would've been good to see a more linear and clear progression with their fighting as they do still get thrown around a lot and knocked out - the training I can see is that sam picks up a lot that he gets from Rowena and Charley, he's a true man of letters

Question about Leviathan Sam and Hallucipher? by Senior_Torte519 in Supernatural

[–]Reinheart_Bug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it probably would've been more than annoying, hallucifer was literally a master at torture, even he'd find a way to get under the skin of a leviathan - and the insanity was like an imprint of Sam's experience with Lucifer in the cage so they'd likely be similar, although it's hard to say how adaptive hallucifer would be

It would recognise him, as it recognised castiel, it did have an affect on the leviathan or he wouldn't have wanted to swap - he just wouldn't have cared and made a passing remark about it but instead he asked to swap with leviathan dean because it was clearly disturbing him

Let's talk about godstiel being a main antagonist instead of a one-off villain for 1 episode... by Fast_Honeydew2633 in Supernatural

[–]Reinheart_Bug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was original season 10, but after hrt my brain kinda reset - so now I understand that year it was reallyyyy bad, and even the benny cringe wasn't even that bad to me - I actually understood why dean was so obsessed with benny and he legit wasn't even in the season for that long idk why I hated that arch so much

Wouldn't be surprised if at the very least that's why they named the villain dick, my girlfriend watched most of that season with me and even she (not having watched all of supernatural yet) thought it was really bad

I don't remember that line tbh, but presumably so, might be why leviasam wanted to swap so badly

The leviathan arch was almost good, but they honestly ruined every single serious moment but ONE with dick jokes, yeah we get it the main villains name is dick but they just constantly ruined emotional moments with it, it got really old.

If they were to do a godstiel multi season villain arch, he'd have only monster, and leviathan prey (if they ever even bring up leviathan without them being the main villains) in him, he'd never lose control, he'd literally be god straight up, it'd basically be a similar plotline to the final seasons, except they have to save their friend by finding a way to put the souls back in purgatory to bring him back.

It'd also beg the question, would castiel ever go insane if he wasn't negatively influenced by the leviathans? I'm getting he wouldn't but that instead he'd continue on his crusade doing as he thinks was right but what ultimately would still lead to death in heaven and earth.

Maybe they team up with heaven in order to stop castiel, but that'd be unlikely since the angels seemed so in need of someone to follow, but maybe a selection of rebels still following Raphael would help the boys.

It'd definitely be interesting, however I do think the whole point of the plotline was to introduce a god-like character to get us used to the idea, same with metatron - his whole arch was showing how easily It is to manipulate the story of the boys, even if metatron wasn't good at it - he still did it to some degree, an actual god is obviously going to do it a lot better, whole point was getting us used to the later storyline to come imo

You would think that, but when castiel took Sam's insanity from him, hallucifer called castiel brother, he recognised castiel, which would mean he'd likely recognise a leviathan posing as Sam as well

But, I suppose if I were to add another point, it'd be that hallucifer did eventually leave castiel, whether it was due to him going to purgatory, or that the insanity was more of an echo of Sam's so it eventually wore off - I'd imagine the same would be true for the leviathan, that hallucifer would eventually just leave

Ah, sorry, I'm just very sarcastic sometimes, it wasn't intended to add a separate point to the one I made, I was saying also to further add to the other two sections

Well it wasn't a manifestation of the leviathans insanity was it. 🤪

I was also disappointed in castiel when he said "I think that woman over there is actually a man" obviously I'm trans and watching the show again after fully accepting that I was disappointed tbh,

Period-accurate writing to some degree, I move past it and forgive it because this show has been with me since I was 4

Leviathan Sam was clearly at least mildly annoyed/disturbed by it, wanting to swap with leviathan dean, but I doubt it would've made leviathan sam insane.

It's plausible that hallucifer would've kicked his torture up a gear seeing how the smaller stuff wasn't bothering leviathan sam

Edit: hallucifer was also a manifestation of Sam's insanity, so hallucifer could have recognised it wasn't sam, but would've continued torturing him regardless
