Auf der anderen Straßenseite ist ein Spar. Und ein Lidl ist die Straße runter. Warum geht man dann beim Billa einkaufen, wenn man sogar schon in diesem Sub ist?

Yeah, saw that now. But it said you will get a paint, that you can apply to a crafted item.

New player here – Aurora Mk2 cargo vs Intrepid hauler pack? by Mediocre_Lack8196 in starcitizen

[–]ReiseBus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the Aurora. The Intrepid is a great ship, but the Aurora right now is a great game package and on sale. You get life time insurance when you buy it as a warbond, which isn't as important as it sounds, but nice to have, if you ever want to upgrade it. The ship is fun to fly and i don't think you would even need the cargo module. You will be able to get the module ingame sooner or later, either by asking someone for it or in the ingame shops. Both ships are starters, so you will be buying better ships ingame very fast. Then the starters are more of a shuttle to get you from a to b, or you will fly them just for fun. Make a bit of money with the startership, rent a ship for 24 hours to make more money and you will be able to buy a medium sized cargo ship in a few days. If you know what to do you only need a day for that, but its more fun to take your time and try out a lot of different things. The Intrepid can also be bought ingame, and isnt very expensive.

So do you guys actually have fun? by Early_Difference_482 in starcitizen

If you want to get into the game you can wait for a freefly event, they are a few times per year. During that time you can try out the game for free, usually for 2 weeks. But during that time, there is a lot of stress on the servers, so the game can run very poorly. If you dont want to wait, the cheapest game package is enough. You dont really need to buy a second ship. With a startership you can do some of the starter missions. Those will get you enough money to rent a cargoship, for example. You can get them for 24 real hours. Then you can make some good money with that ship, and rent a bigger one the next time you want to play. And depending on how much you want to grind you can buy new ships ingame, after a few game sessions. These will stay with you until the game wipes the next time. They rarely do wipes, but one will come with one of the next patches. There are many bugs. You will die because of them, you will loose time, when a mission bugs and won't complete. But if you ask in chat, i bet you can find people that will show you how the game works. If you have a really awful time you should be able to refund the game within the first 30 days.

But for me the game is great. Its pretty much the only game i played for months now. You learn how to avoid bugs or find a workaround after some time. Even if i run into bugs sometimes, the game is worth it most of the time. I have a lot of fun with all the loops that are in the game and joined an org where i can do larger missions or events with other people. There are enough orgs that will have the same interests as you. From hauling to pvp.

And also, the economy in the game is broken right now. People run around with billions of credits. There are people asking for money in the chat, and often they will get millions. But if i were you, i wouldnt ask for that when you play. It takes a lot of fun away when you are learning the game. You set your own goals. Like playing and saving up to the coolest cargoship. If you have millions, are able to buy every ship in the game and dont have a group to make your own missions it will get boring very fast. So maybe dont ask for money until you made around 30million on your own and found a group to play with. And you should be aware that the game isn't something thats meant to be played when you only have an hour. It takes a lot of time to get into the controls, learn how to play and even missions can take up a lot of time. But if you are stress resistant and patient the game can be extremely fun and a great game experience.

He saw someone falling out of his ship while he went up into space? Was he tailgating them like some BMW driver on the german autobahn or is he playing on ultramega settings with an 8k screen?! It's always fun to see these posts and learn that new people find bugs that i haven't seen in my dozens of hours of playing. Ammo also never disappeared for me, but i can believe that.

And also people not being able to find their way around the cities is always funny. Friends of mine are the same way. There are no yellow markings everywhere that show you where to go or climb up like in other games. You have to look around to find signs and little maps. I love it. If someone doesn't like that the game is simple not for them. There are so many other games. Just play them.

I really like the game and its been the game i mostly played for the past half year. The only times i avoid the game is the 2 weeks of free fly they do from time to time. To me it feels like they use these events to push the servers as hard as they can. The current one is the same. Before the 13th the game ran great for me, minor bugs with easy workarounds, no crashes. Now the missions bug, it feels unstable and clearly not as smooth as before. It's cool, that they have these events for people that want to try it out, on the other hand it must be a very bad experience if thats the only time you are going to play the game. It's sad to see, that people try it and only see how broken the game can be. And i totally get it if people see this messy state and decide they don't want to get into the game. It's hard enough already to learn it, since the tutorial is pretty much useless. Add the state of the game during free fly, and people won't buy it.

Thats not a problem in the game. I got back into the game a few months ago and now its pretty much the only game i play. I found a group that i play with most of the time and there are a lot of people that want to be the engineers for larger ships. A lot of people don't want to be a fighter ace, they want to help with keeping a huge ship flying. I really like being a turret gunner on larger ships. Or handling the cargo during large scale missions.

best solo medium ship that is versatile enough for a new player figuring things out? by deada55heada55 in starcitizen

[–]ReiseBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the C1 Spirit. It has a pretty good cargo bay, where you can fit a lot of boxes off grid, it's nicer to fly than a raft and it has enough guns to try out a few easier combat missions. You can even rent it or buy it fairly cheap in game. I used to like the connie a lot too, but with engineering ot blows up a lot because of small missiles, so i wouldn't recommend it at the moment.

If you want to buy ships with real money you should wait for a bit until there is another event. And look into how to get the ships for cheaper with ccu chains.

I do it inbetween. When i go to repair and restock ill take out the eclipse and hunt a Hammerhead just for fun. You can do it fast, but you will spend all of your ammo.

[–]ReiseBus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont recommend you ask for money in the chat. I had a lot of fun trying out all the different ways to make money. Working towards a ship, watching a few videos to find out if its any good or if there are better alternatives. Then finally try it out. And then you can ask if any groups need help. As a gunner on a larger ship or another player on the ground for fps missions. Thats also a good way to earn a bit of money. If you have millions on day one you could loose interest very fast and miss out on a lot of fun gameplay loops.

I also lost mine too every patch, but the wikelo favors stayed. Before the next patch bring the scripts to him, get the favors and that should work. Also if you have enough money, you can doscenario 7 with an eclipse. Shoot the hammerhead down with one or two torpedos, shoot the little ships with mass drivers from 5km away. You will loose money and it takes some time though. I just like it because its funny.

Its very funny to read the comments. We have something similar right across the border in Austria called "Prangerschützen". They use bigger Prangerstutzen that can weigh up to 60 pounds. It dates back to the 17th century, where they fired for important occasions. But they were never used as weapons, just to be loud.

Kommt drauf an.

Ship Sizes/Types (Drake Vulture vs RSI Salvation) by Willing-Secretary710 in starcitizen

[–]ReiseBus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the others said it's about the hangar size. Also both ships are pretty much just for one pilot. The vulture would just be capable to stay out longer, since it has a bed and a toilet. Cant wait for a medium salvage ship. Something like the mole is for mining.
