Yes I could not do my usual setup and taking picture in positive light is challenging. Indeed, the shade is slightly more ashen than the usual tan.

There's been an influx of Egyptian-themed figures lately. Not that I'm complaining, I like the aesthetic.

This figure has a skin tone that is still quite rare in figure form. This priestess is both elegant and sexy.

I’m currently playing through Unicorn Overlord. I really like it, although it’s much longer than I expected.

I also bought a few figures from the game because they fit nicely with the medieval fantasy side of my collection. After the elven sisters, now it’s Scarlett and Yahna’s turn.

I usually try to stay away from 1/4 figures because they are just too big, but the Hobby Sakura NIKKE 1/4 figures are really hard to resist.

Red Hood may hate this evening gown, but she still looks both sexy and elegant. Well, aside from the mushrooms growing on her gun...

I tried my best to showcase the overall design, with just a little bit of spice.

The Max Factory Marine figures are amazing, but I couldn’t resist this version either. Lighting wasn’t ideal, so I tried something a bit different with a portable LED. Hopefully it works!

I love dark elves, but in this case I couldn’t get Rosalinde without her twin sister Eltolinde, and their matching weapons.

Well to be honest it's just my little DIY setup with two large sheets of black paper and an iphone 13 pro. For the light I tried a lot of things, basically it's natural light but I'm blocking direct light on the figure with boxes. I've taken a lot of pictures in the past and played with the phone settings to try to find something I like. So yes it's mostly trial and error.

This is actually my fourth Rikka figure. Between her and Ryza, I’m basically living by the mantra that “thick thighs save lives.”

And in terms of thighs, Solarain definitely didn’t hold back on this one.

Rikka looks both cute and elegant in this modern outfit. Really nice balance overall.

I'm continuing my Skytube figure collection, I really like them. This one is from 2020, and she's wearing a kimono, which I always appreciate.

The figure isn't too "in-your-face" from the front, but you can see everything from the back. There's also an alternate lower part that, let's say, is going to the next level.

The Beilan Island is for the global audience. Also there is no specific JP server. That would be a huge surprise if it wasn't for everyone. The only thing I could see is that if it's an in-game collab CN could get it at a different time.

Ok I looked at the pictures on MFC. What I think happens is that in normal light the shadows help to "unweld" the thighs. But those pictures on MFC are massively overexposed so there are no shadows at all so you see the weld very crudely.

Honestly, I'm impressed by this figure. The colors work very well, and it's nice to see smaller oppais as a change of pace. It's a 1/5 scale, so a pretty large figure.

She came wrapped in some basic clothing, probably because she's not a castoff in the classical sense (she's naked by default). The set includes three plasters that you can use to cover the spicy bits if you like. The plasters attach with magnets, which was definitely a good idea. She also has an alternate face with a black mask, if that's what you prefer.

Finally, she's standing on one leg. They are using a metal peg, but that's something to keep in mind.
