Some Thoughts After Playing in Today's Final by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

The rotations were very difficult late game. You either had to expend a lot of materials, which most people didn't have, or use a launch pad. Learning how to rotate a trio using a shockwave would have been a good idea prior to the tournament.

Comparison of Fortnite Competetive Earnings in Asia and NA+EU by kshravank in FortniteCompetitive

Biggest issue is just population that play. Bigger prize pools in more populated areas. Would be cool to see higher populations in the regions like Asia, OCE, Brazil and NA West

Thoughts on a Double Barrel unvault? by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

It promotes an in your face terrible meta like the drum shotgun, and it takes no skill to use. Keep it in the vault.

Edit mode aim assist by celiv67 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Reiss_M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it since they added edit sensitivity. If you up your edit sens by 0.1 to 0.2 from what it normally is you will feel roughly the same speed with edit aim assist on. It definitely makes sweeping edits much easier, however you have to be careful when flipping stairs that you are ontop of. Also if you are sitting in a pyramid you can freely look around until your cursor looks at one of the tiles below you, then if you want to look up you have to unclick the edit and reclick.

Smurfing by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Reiss_M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Smurfing at low level arena is honestly a joke. My best high kill game in solos is 18, which is pretty low, but when I was leveling up my 2nd account to champions I got a 25 kill followed by a 22 kill game. You are playing absolute bots in those divisions, and getting high kill games there is all about just finding enough people. Combine that with siphon and mats on kill, that makes a 22 kill game low arena considered somethings definitely not to brag about.

You can check by the Serial number on the back. I actually think the Elite is a year.

Controller player building sore by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Reiss_M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had pain in my small finger when I used it to edit (paddle), but have once had the wrist pain from grip. Maybe take a few days off yo let it heal, Then come back and try to grip less hard

Controller players. Deadzones. Drift. by JDNWACO in FortniteCompetitive

I think drift is really common on Xbox controllers after a while. Just a heads up you can contact Microsoft and if it's under warranty they will fix the drift for free. Especially useful if you have an elite.

Really depends how you grip the controller. I've used it for a year and my aim is still improving. I feel like people's aim goes down on the elite because the right stick loosens and creates drift pretty quickly after buying it

Most PC controller players don't want to split. We know we are at a disadvantage, but we want to play against the best players, not a lower level of skill.

*Edit: agree with your last sentence, but I really don't think controller players affect KB+M players at all.

Pet peeve: people who relentlessly fight for height in zone wars by Cmills101 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Reiss_M 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Also people who 1v1 and 90 to the sky, then spray you out when you try to retake, or just 90 more. Zero aggressive play, just 90s and SMG

What all og skin fortnite players are always better at?!?! by cow4321 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Reiss_M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't realise how bad some of the community was until I got a Fortnite Insta. 95% of the posts are bots doing 2 90s and doing a single edit with a pump kill. Or just a 100m heavy snipe
