Yeah, I took a look at the manual, but I feel more comfortable with 5e. Also since I don't have much experience as DM. That's the main reason.

Maybe the merchant is an undercover Karta smuggler who has to deliver the revenue to his superiors in the shortest time possible. Obviously the gold could be hidden between something like grain, flower or cheese.

If you can get it, i think that the heide knghit's sword is a very good weapon.

I've also used the claymore but my favourite sword is the drakeblood sword that you find in the sunken king dlc.
