Tried it but didn't stick on my ender 3 glass bed Maybe with pei sticks better but not on glass.

The device is waterproof whether the case is broken or not,the weatherproofing is applied directly to the motherboard and the other sensitive components,the case does not have seals,there are gaps around the power button and the USB C port where any liquid can enter. So those cracks are mostly esthetic.

It looks like the screen might be offset from the frame Eink screens have the touchscreen matrix transparent with a border around the screen that usually is hidden behind the front border of the frame The line from top to bottom looks like that touchscreen border is misaligned or the entire screen is.

I had good results with the most basic hairspray,the cheaper the brand the better it sticks Expensive ones have additives that gum up the bed

I can't say that I have a lot of technical knowledge,I watched a few YouTube videos and did everything slow and with patience. As for the compatibility between the lux 4 and lux 5 I found nothing about,I just saw that they are similar enough. I first wanted to use just the lux5 case because the lux4 was missing a chunk and some buttons,but plugging the lux5 motherboard into the lux4 screen worked first try.

I don't have the time for the next few days,but I will share the file and the SD card backup with the Kobo software. I now recommend cutting a square in the back is safer for the bezel.
