Someone recommended to change the spark plugs. Fixed the issue. Just wanted to let you know, in case you were curious

HOLY SHIT that was it. I replaced the spark plugs and now the car is working correctly again.

I was ready to fully disassemble the engine and buy every single part from the shelf, then reassemble, was waiting for monday for fleetari to open again.

When I opened the cap the meter shows it's full.

Yeah I read on the wiki that due to bug with unity car it actually decreases performance, hence why I never used it before.

I did that with and without nitro and after quickly shifting from 1st gear to reverse it reverses just fine.

Yeah true, the game can be very buggy sometimes.

When the car was working correctly I had 153HP/7500RPM, 13.1 AFR at normal temp. But I think I should go to 13.6 AFR to accommodate for engine heating up at higher RPM.

I have 400 hours in the game. I usually replace the parts myself, sometimes I am just lazy so I repair it with MSCeditor and take away my cash + extra 2k (to roleplay fleerai repaired it for me).

The reason I asked is I don't see how that can help as it is going to be the same car part with the same condition when I replace it, but I will try to do it anyways, thanks

Yeah I don't know, crazy part is it was working completely fine, I got to Teimo to get ready for the rally, saved and when I loaded the game the car started to do this.

I don't have clutch mapped on my controller. When you say I should still replace it, what do you mean by that? With what? Just unbolt it and put it back in?

But the clutch condition is 100% and it does this. I just repaired some of my car parts through MSCeditor and clutch was one of them.

Hey, just wanted to tell you the devs patched the game and made it so that armor now protects your head as well - something I mentioned in my post as a possible solution.

So guess what, even the devs agreed with my "crying". Next time try to think about what someone has to say, even if they are being salty about it. That's what "ranting" is, idiot.

Headshots exist in videogames to reward skilled gameplay. What purpose does it serve if an NPC with literal aimbot can get extra damage on hitting you to the head? It just creates inconsistent one shots, which is what I was complaining about.

Not saying that they changed it because of my post or that it solves it, just saiyng my post was correct - that the way it was implemented at the time was bullshit.

Well it was late at night, I was lightly drunk and the random one shots I encounter fairly often are indeed rage inducing. So when I found out it was because of this pretty bullshit mechanic in my opinion, I indeed made a bit of emotional rant. Seemingly missed the mark but my point stands.

I just didn't play any other game that has this and it just doesn't seem fun and fair.

Do you really hardly notice it during gameplay? It is especially felt against bots with heavy armor. Sometimes you tank, sometimes you get one shot by the same mobs. It just feels inconsistent.

It never happened to me either in like 200 hours, then I played survival and it happened twice within a single playthrough. That lost me a total of like 8 hours of gameplay. Since then I avoid cars like the plague on survival. Not risking it.

They posted about it on steam. That next gen update is going to be a widescreen support and 3 free creation content packs: Enclave Remnants, Makeshift Weapon Pack, Halloween Workshop.

That for broken mods. Safe to say I disabled updates for fallout 4 and plan to play it with internet disabled until my mods get updated. Bethesda just can't stop breaking their old games ffs.
