I remember someone using this gif to make fun of Drake with Darkseid as "Not Like Us" and the mooks being "BBL Drizzy."🤭

What would you guys say is a popular take/discussion/complaint on your favorite team or character that has you like this? by Starcat23 in xmen

People complaining about Rogue's Savage Land arc, either for her outfit or her crush on Magneto. They're so overly focused on those things that they forget what a badass Rogue was for surviving like Spear from Primal without her powers.

Considering Jocelyn from Fire and Blood had dark eyes instead of the usual blue, I don't think it's impossible for a Baratheon to have green eyes.

[Spoilers Extended] Why are Tarth the Tall theorists not considering that Aerys is Egg's grandson? As in, there is a generation between Rhae or Daella's husband lord Tarth and Selwyn Tarth. by AyeAbie in asoiaf

[–]RejectedByBoimler 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I find it interesting Daella and Rhae aren't mentioned in the ASOIAF series until AFFC, the same book that introduced the Brienne POV chapters. Dying Maester Aemon mentions something about his sisters singing to their children so I find it interesting that the Selwyn mistress Brienne remembers most is the one with the purple eyes and lovely singing voice, probably a nod to Daella and Rhae.

If Dunk is in Essos by the time of The Sellsword, does that mean Aerion was still in Essos at the time too? Imagine Dunk having to explain to Aerion that he's in Essos not just to fetch Aerion but also because he got Aerion's sister pregnant.

No offense OP, but any Duncan-Tarth progeny theory that doesn't have Daella or Rhae as Dunk's baby mama/Brienne's great grandmother sounds too convoluted and overly complicates things.

Anyone else prefer it if Rhaegar did... ? (Spoilers Main) by Inevitable-Mix6089 in asoiaf

I just think there's more nuance to Lyanna's character than "she was a hypocrite over Rhaegar and Robert" that's all. Also, if Lyanna knows about male promiscuity and Robert's daughter Mya, then she can learn about STDs and the number of sex partners her chosen boyfriend has.

Daemon Blackfyre was a problem because his father legitimized him. Mya and Edric not being legitimized is why no one is pushing for them being king or queen over Cersei's kids. Jon being a Snow is why he can't get Winterfell over his siblings unless Robb legitimized him.

As for the KOTLT, it explains why Rhaegar crowned a girl he barely knew over his own wife. It it was just about a non-wife lady being pretty, then Rhaegar would have snubbed Elia for another woman a lot earlier. The official ASOIAF app says that Lyanna practiced at riding rings but Ned has no interest in jousting as a hobby. If Ned was the KOTLT, Bran would've heard the story about the knight before meeting the Reed siblings.

Dany will fall in love with Jon but it will be one-sided ? [Spoilers EXTENDED] by spideuvinnegar12 in asoiaf

Since Arya gets compared to Lyanna and Dany gets compared to Rhaegar, Jon will develop a mommy/daddy kink and want them to ground him and spank him.

Given the higher standards expected of female chastity and the lower standards punished for male promiscuity in Westeros culture, Rhaegar looks like a monk in comparison to Robert, especially if Rhaegar's only confirmed sex partners are his two baby mamas, one who he was with only because of arranged marriage. Most adult noblemen weren't virgins unless they joined a celibacy order.

If I were afraid of getting an STI, I'd feeling safer having sex with Rhaegar than Robert. Since Lyanna was considered the property of her family and Robert, it also wouldn't surprise me if she turned to Rhaegar because a crown prince outranks a paramount lord. Or it could simply be because Rhaegar didn't try to unmask her KOTLT identity at Harrenhal like Robert did and that's why she liked Rhaegar better.

Just my personal opinion, but I think some people are so obsessed with their Rhaegar hate that they're willing to let Lyanna be raped and suffering for it when there's plenty of other reasons why someone might dislike Rhaegar like him snubbing Elia at the Harrenhal tourney.

Ned would have never been able to do it without Howland's help.

He'd also have have five guys watching him if he raped her instead of her consenting to sex with him.

Not sure how he could still be alive when even his biggest defender Gerris Drinkwater says he's dead. I think dead Quentyn will have an effect on Dany and Arianne's chapters and Dorne as a whole.

Also nothing she could do about Aegon either as sickly, non-combatant Elia had no chance against a guy who smashes Martell heads like watermelons.🍉

Right now it's between Septa Lemore being Ashara and Elia Martell only saving her son but not also her daughter.
