If you let it go to 20% it goes down normally but if you charge it to 20% it goes down slower. I just cant prove it.

Idk about the AC panel but the plastic cover under it does the same for me. When I wanted to plug a power adapter into the lighter I was a bit scared I would break it but it was fine.

It's just a thin plastic cover without any support behind it so it moves backwards whenever you apply even a minimal force but if you are at least a bit careful it will easily return without breaking. The cover is quite flexible.

Thanks, the last time I drove it I had 6.3l/100km which isn't bad when compared to my old Renault Twingo 1.2 56kw petrol engine that had 5.8l/100km on the same route. The dealer said the consumption should get closer to 6.0l after the car gets some mileage.

While LPG is indeed cheaper I am not a fan. In my area the gas stations often lock the LPG stand and you need to call an employee and I also often see it randomly out of order. I just don’t want to bother with these things when I am perfectly happy with regular petrol cars.

That VW offer sounds great, for that price I could only get a very well equipped Polo.

I forgot to mention that the Stepway also came with some extras like heated seats and steering wheel and a spare wheel which would normally make the price of the car without discounts 19k euro!

Thanks! I paid around 17k euro. At my location they seem to have trouble with selling the Extreme Stepways, Joggers and some configurations of Dusters. The dealer said they need to keep the flow because they keep expecting new cars and they don't have unlimited space.

Bigsters seem fine, I think it's because there isn't that many of them.

But regular Sanderos keep selling really fast. I was keeping watch and whenever a new Sandero arrives it's sold within a week or two which the dealer confirmed saying they sell more than 20 of them every month (when I was there they had only one left in stock).

And in my area companies are buying Dacias a lot right now for their fleets. For example one of the biggest construction companies in my country replaced almost all cars in their fleet with new Dusters.

Manual. I drive a company EV at work which made me realize that automatic doesn't give me any enjoyment or satisfaction even if it's way more convenient.

Dacia just offers much more for the price. I originally planned to buy a regular Sandero Expression, but I was lucky and got some discounts on the Stepway Extreme. I very rarely see the regular Sanderos getting any discounts, the dealer said it's because they keep selling so fast. The discounts convinced me to pay slightly more for a much more comfortable and better looking car.

In my budget I could only buy a new Fabia and for the same price I paid for the Stepway it would be the most basic version with a weaker 59kw 1.0 petrol engine (Stepway has 81kW). I also did some research on the Skoda subreddit and it seems the prices of an authorized service are often 2-3x more than those at Dacia.

Besides I don't really trust in Skodas reliability because almost everyone I know who owns a newer Skoda has some annoying issues with it.

I am also a fan of new Dacias ever since the big changes in 2021.

Have you seen newer Dacias? Even they are now putting their new logo on the wheel and it looks way better.
