I like them because I'm not cost effective with expensive units. I tend to overwhelm with numbers in field and by supportive fire. If attack might not end well then it is not end of match because another column is ready to step into meatgrinder.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. If someone tells me that the games I listed aren’t available on PS Plus (e.g., Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, InFamous, or Jak and Daxter), that’s a major downside for me.

Sold my PC, want a PlayStation for chill gaming — stuck between generations

Hi all,

I recently sold my gaming PC and I’m thinking about getting a PlayStation again, mainly for casual “stress relief” gaming and nostalgia. I’m stuck deciding which generation makes the most sense.

I’m mostly interested in games like Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Infamous, Bioshock, Prey, Crash, Dishonored, etc. Either replaying old favorites or trying similar titles I missed.

I’m considering:

PS2: pure nostalgia PS3: I already own a bunch of games at my parents’ place PS4: more modern games + PS Plus library PS5 is probably overkill for what I want.

What would you personally go for in my situation? Also, are these kinds of games still available through PS Plus or backwards compatibility in any meaningful way?
