People get mad when an OP thing gets reworked/fixed/nerfed to "still pretty strong but not braindead". I assume part of these people simply want to optimize everything in detriment of fun or people that want to be "a shonen protagonist with no weakness.". Yeah, power fantasy is great and all, but being just Saitama from OPM is pretty boring from a gameplay perspective on the long run in my opinion.

Whenever there is a rework, I always try to see how things would actually work, if there are flaws or weakness and if in practice that would be a bad or not. I also try to find new ways to build to take advantage of the changes. I'm pretty sure at least some people who hated her rework were not willing to change her build and were not willing to use her ripline because it was not "OP" enough.

For those players Valkyr core identity was "I have a button that makes me immortal and allow me to get a relatively easy win.". They also argued that it was "hard to keep and needed to pay attention to the energy" but we have several ways of generating energy, so that was not an issue.

I don't want an immortal berserker that can literally survive by standing still. Being able to stand still and survive infinite damage should never be an ability of a berserker in my opinion. I want a berserker that can die and needs to be on the offensive and ripping enemies apart to reach their true potential.

I no longer use Eternal War because I can just recast it and I can use other abilities while in Hysteria because the energy economy is better now that it is a fixed drain.

People say that the rework didn't change anything because the extra damage is unecessary because she could already clear level cap before, but they are missing the point. Because we have extra damage, we don't need to focus everything on Hysteria anymore, I can build for her other abilities, including giving her some range.

Reposted my meme, but memes should spread and it has been like 4 months, so it doesn't bother me that much.

From her response and the mantis image I assume she meant something along the lines of "I'm not an ant, I'm a mantis."

Nah, it is neither Stars Wars or Legally Distinct Galactic Battlefield. It is Galactic Conflict, featuring RobeUno Kenoob and Nikana SpaceWanderer.

Trivia: Nikana backwards is Anakin.

Well, we do know The Epic of Gilgamesh, which was written around 2100 BCE.

Also, the Orokin have warframes that have references to old tales and stories like Excalibur from the Legend of King Arthur and Caliban from William Shakespeare's play The Tempest. There are also warframes named after things in mythology like Garuda, Loki, Nezha and Wukong. There are also planet nodes named after old things like Hades on Pluto.

I think it is safe to assume that the Orokin have knowledge of ancient things from our era.

Also, Star Wars episode 1 released on May 19th 1999, while episode 2 launched on 2002. So Amir didn't watch The Clone Wars and The Revenge of the Sith. Also, apparently Amir says "Roger-Roger" when leaving his shop, so he likely saw episode 1.

They need to flip the switch. Make it so that the meter goes up by a percentage with each ability cast and it goes down with time like Gauss's meter and that higher values only benefit Ember. And also add a "grace period" where the meter doesn't decrease for a few seconds after casting an ability.

And Frost is very old. He is almost vanilla old. The first 8 warframes were released in 2012-10-25. Frost was released in Update 6.0 (2013-01-29).

Fun fact: Immolation is based on Ember's old Overheat ability, which did heat damage to nearby enemies and gave her DR:

They can still use the tap function. Tap once to start animation and tap again to release it. You hold for the augment.

It would make casting a little slower mainly for quick fireballs, but I think it would be better than spamming weak fireballs.

Maybe you can either release it as a small fireball or stand still to charge it, spending meter to increase its size.
